Are man-made fragrances making you sick? For many the thought of their laundry or personal care products being a source of unwanted cancer-promoting chemicals in their household sounds strange. But for someone who is trying to figure out how to heal from long-term disease or why they are sick in the first place, man-made fragrances will be a part of the puzzle, and should be understood….
[Christian girls today need courage to stand for true beauty and not slip into some worldly, counterfeit version of it. I share this guest post by Kristen Clark at Girl Defined (with her permission) to embolden and inspire young women (and women of all ages) to do just that.]
Several months ago I wrote a controversial blog post that went viral and picked up a lot of positive and negative attention. It currently has over 730 comments and has reached over a million people. It’s called “Why Christian Girls Post Seductive Selfies.” If you’re interested, you can read it here.
My main point was to bring up the question of why so many Christian girls post provocative, sensual and seductive selfies online. I challenged Christian girls to reevaluate their online images and ask themselves if what they’re posting is honoring to God.
(While sleepovers are not a black and white issue, this thought-provoking guest post by Angie Tolpin of Courageous Mom may help you make a decision based upon the convictions the Lord impresses into your heart. And for those wondering, our family did not do sleepovers either for the same reasons.)
In published research in the Journal of Restorative Medicine, compelling evidence is shown that acetaminophen (sold as Tylenol or Paracetamol) (does not cause autism) but increases the incidence of autism, attention deficit with hyperactivity and asthma in genetically and/or metabolically susceptible children. In the US, acetaminophen is sold over-the-counter, in spite of the fact that it results in death for hundreds of Americans each year.
At the news of every child’s birth, what’s the first question we ask about the baby – even before we ask if the baby is healthy? We want to know if it’s a boy or girl!
Knowing the sex of the child is the first way we begin to connect with and understand the new human being. To be human is to be gendered – male or female. And one of the most important jobs of a parent is to help their children develop as healthy boys or girls and into strong, confident men and women.
How do we as Christian parents keep our children from gender confusion and teach them about gender and gender distinction in light of the huge cultural and moral shift that has been taking place?
The HPV vaccine, Gardasil, is built on marketing that it prevents cancer. But rather than prevent it – in this woman’s case – it actually caused it.
This is the third time I’ve written on Gardasil. Though parents and young people still need to understand the perils of the HPV vaccine, an additional valuable nugget is contained in the video. Experience taught this young woman not to trust current medical advice which is often based on greed. She did not receive chemo and radiation for her cancer and took an aggressive alternative route. Ten years later, she lives to tell about it! I hope you’ll hang out here a moment and listen. Her 10 minute story is riveting….
