In 2006, a world-televised press conference was held at the Royal Society of Medicine in London, where the results of exciting new research on the patented elderberry formula was presented and found to be at least 99% effective against the Avian Flu (H5N1) virus in cell cultures! A predicted world-wide bird flu pandemic was expected to eradicate huge swaths of populations, so this was wonderful news!!

Health Benefits of Elderberries:
Elderberries are used for their antioxidant activity, to lower cholesterol, to improve vision, to boost the immune system, to improve heart health, and for coughs, colds, flu, bacterial and viral infections and tonsillitis.
Bioflavonoids and other proteins in the juice destroy the ability of cold and flu viruses to infect a cell.
Elderberry juice was used to treat a flu epidemic in Panama in 1995.
Before the explosion of man-made drugs supplanting natural remedies, elderberries were listed in (one of my nursing school textbooks) Mosby’s Nursing Drug reference for colds, flu, yeast infections, nasal and chest congestion, and hay fever.
In Hadassah University Hospital, Jerusalem, Israel, their Oncology Lab determined that elderberry stimulates the body’s immune system, and they are treating cancer and AIDS patients with it. Elderberry could have an immunoprotective or immunostimulatory effect when administered to cancer or AIDS patients, in conjunction with chemotherapeutic or other treatments. (source)

Hi Jacque! Do you have another way of contacting Heather from Bulk Herb Garden that you can privately share with me please? I ordered elderberries from her last year & we’re in need of another batch. However, all communication was via FB & we no longer have FB. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much Jacque! I’ve found a couple other sites that seem to be reputable, but they source the berries from Eastern Europe. I’m sure that’s okay, but if Heather grows them herself or gets them from an American farm, I’d prefer that instead. 😊
Jacqueline
Audrey, she usually sells off her FB page and locally, but you can email here here and she can mail to you! [email protected]
Here elderberries come from California.
