The real question I have for you today is: do you want or need an online mentor? Someone you know who is invested in sharing valuable insights, research and encouragement to assist in these crazy times?
While it is ideal to have someone face to face you can sit and really talk to, in this world, it is not always possible. Maybe I can be a helpful mentor to you in a different way… as an older woman who:
- will not judge you
- will tell it straight from experience as a (far from perfect) wife, mother, and maturing older woman
- will give scientific backing for research that you can verify
- will give biblical guidance from the Bible and not just opinion
- will not run from difficult topics
I’ve already been hard at work for you! I’m a research geek! A wife, lover of Jesus, former nurse, wellness researcher, mommy researcher, and 23 year homeschool mom… Deep Roots at Home already has almost 600 posts, with many new articles I’m working on. There are a lot of other ideas that haven’t even come to mind yet!
The thought of a Titus 2 mentor comes from the Bible in, wait for it… Titus, chapter 2.
Titus 2:3 -5 says:
“Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.”
I know some of you right now may be thinking, “So, I’d like to have that! How and where do I get that?”
I want to offer my heart and experience and research to you. I want to offer hope!
Yes, I’ll admit my being online is harder than having someone walk physically right beside you, but maybe it can be a bit of a guiding light in a difficult day or season for you.
I hope that the Lord will use me in that way. A Titus 2 mentor can help and guide you through the challenges and struggles in life. Can you see why you need one in your life? It can be amazing and life-giving.
What Topics Do You Want Me To Write More About?
Would you comment on this post with a suggestion of something you’d like to hear about? If it’s something I can tackle, I will.
I’m not able to reply to emails but I read every single comment on the blog and do respond to most.
Thank you! Your ideas are invaluable to me!
PS To be transparent, I came to the Lord later in life (31) so I have some baggage, I’ve been redeemed from an abortion, experienced almost 20 years of infertility, had deep marital issues, Lymes issues that messed with my mind, … I could go on. Just know I am not a perfect person.
Millicent Cierah
Hello Jacqueline? I’m from Kenya in Africa and every so often I pass by here to read your very insightful messages. I have recently god hooked to checking at least daily to see if you have a new post. You have articles that are very relevant to me. I am 46 years, a mother of three 13, 11 and 6 and I notice that my body is currently faced with a myriad of health issues. It gives me pleasure to see you are a nurse and may probably be able to reach to some of the issues that are quite bothersome at the moment. I am currently struggling with an overactive bladder which started right after my second delivery. I have seen multiple doctors, urologist sent me to gynecologist who said that was not a cause so sent me to urologist again who put me on medication but within no time the body grew a resistance to this medication and it was no longer effective. I took to herbal care where I took anti inflammatory filled foods. It went well for a while and soon they were also ineffective. I was soon on my way back to hospital and this time I saw what they called a uro-gynecologist. I went through uro dynamics to basically test whether my bladder was able to hold the approximate 500ml of urine that it should. The bladder was okay but he could not quite understand why my urine just kept giving me a burning sensation in the bladder. I would hold very little urine and the bladder would be on fire. He put me on medication for six months and I was okay slowly weaning out of the medication in 2017. I had a good time until mid 2018 when the problem came back with a vengeance. I went back to the urogenaecologist once again and we did a cystoscopy. Small microorganisisms that were clouding my urine and during the cystoscopy they were cleaned and I for once in about ten years slept very well. I felt like myself again. That only lasted for two days though. I had been put on nitrofurantoin on discharge after cystoscopy and I started on it but three days later I had a very bad allergenic reaction. I havent gone back to the doctor but the problem persists. I am living a very uncomfortable urine system life. I can go to the toilet upto 6 times in a night but each visit has very little to empty. I am not at wits end, my left leg feels numb. I have to take pain killers at bed time. I do not want to check into hospital again for failed medication. Is there anything you know or can find out?
Jacqueline
Oh, my heart goes out to you!!!
Yes, Millicent, I do know something! Are you on FB so we can Private message? I would like to send you something for your consideration! Maybe the Lord wants to lead you to something I just found out about.
If so, I will need to know your Fb page (*****full name and what your profile image looks like****) so I can send it there.

I don’t know if you fixed this or I am finally doing it right, but I am able to comment! 😀 I am hoping you can help me figure out how to deal with pollution. My husband and I are missionaries in Manila, Philippines 6 months out of the year. One missionary was told his lungs look like he smokes a pack of cigarettes a day, just from living in Manila. A computer tech was cleaning our laptop and said it looked worse than the guys coming back from Afghanistan, and it just sits on a desk in my room in Manila. My husband and I feel a constant congestion in our chest. Is there something we can do to clean this up? Thanks!
Jacqueline
Hi, Chris K!
Wow, I did not know how bad it was there. And this is inside your howe with the windows closed? Do you live near cell towers or something?
There is something I can share that may help…it won’t help the pollution but it will help YOUR BODIES fight it!

What about circumcision? We did not circumcise our son, but now I’m reading in the Bible (Old Testament) how important circumcision was. I’m not worried about his health as much as others are, but more about did we do the right thing and will this affect his marriage.
Jacqueline
Hi, Sahmpaw! Both of your thoughts are really good! My brother wasn’t circumcised and when he was 13, he got an infection so bad, that the doctor encouraged my parents to do it! It was very hard for a 13 yo boy to go through that. And it wasn’t a hygiene issue!
I need to consider them and love that you are thinking about these things in your family. We just finished our final will (after several changes) nand it is VERY important to not leave our children with legal complications or pit them against each other! Thank you for those great ideas! Hugs! J
sahmpaw
I believe that is called balanitis and I know the Banerji protocol for it (homeopathy) so not too worried about infection. But look forward to a post on circumcision if you choose to do one. 🙂
Jacqueline
Sahmpaw, it sounds like I have a lot to research. I would love to know more about that protocol!! Will search it out one day soon <3 Thank you so much!

Jacqueline my name is sheila holder and I ordered The trs over a week ago and have not received it. How long does it normally take to receive product?
Jacqueline
Hi, Sheila!
I found out what happened.. it looks like you ordered it and then apparently you cancelled it almost immediately afterward (and got the price credited) so it never shipped!
I sent you an email with a screen shot!
I hope that helps!!

Here’s another one…choosing guardians for young children for your Will when you are the only christians in your extended family. I have lost a couple night’s sleep over this choice.
Michele Basler
I’d love to read about this too!
Jenn
Hi! I really enjoy your blog, thank you for writing it! I love to research as well, but it is great to find like minded women to learn from. I personally am researching how to balance hormones while nursing and going through perimenopause. It’s not a common topic! My biggest challenge is the insomnia, and finding things to help me relax that are also safe for my nursling (14 months as of today), as well as help me stay asleep. We “breastsleep”, so I am not able to take anything that would cause me to not wake-up, not that I would be willing to take any prescription because I know the quality of sleep is different and I personally am not fond of prescriptions. Right now I am eating very healthfully, no processed food, sugar, or GMOs, mostly organic (may purchase from clean 15), balanced electrolytes, and follow specific macros that are optimal for a nursing mom to lose weight (have lost over 90 lbs so far). I also have lose and dry skin due to the weight loss and perimenopause, so I am working on a regime I can follow realistically with my youngest 2 not allotting much time for a self care routine 😉 So far I have found an amazing coffee scrub by Buffalo Gal Grassfed Beauty, I dry brush when I shower, and use Buffalo Gals Tallow as a lotion. I have recently found Dr. Anna Cabeca’s website, which has been enlightening! Anyway, I would love to hear what you think. Blessings!
Jacqueline
Jenn, I am impressed at the thought you have put into your personal regimine. It will very much bless you and pay dividends to your children with a healthier mom and their own improved health!
If you are not financially strapped, I would look into TRS (detox) to gently remove more metals, which balances hormones as your body recalibrates a healthier immune system. For the first time I am peacefully dreaming and really rested in the morning. We are using it to detox prions (a left over from mad cow contamination on our old farm), but there have been other side benefits – sleep being one of them. I think everyone should use it a part of their toolbox.
You are a good mama, I can tell! <3 Blessings, J
Mandy
I appreciate that you write on a broad range of topics~I’d be interested in reading about harvesting seeds for next year’s garden.
Jacqueline
Hi, Mandy! I need to revamp a post on collecting celery seed. I may have another, but they have sort of gotten “lost” in the newer posts! Thank you for that thought! <3 J
Vicki
Hello, Jacqueline!
I love this opportunity you have given us to ask questions and get answers from a trusted source.
I would LOVE detailed information on the right kind of preservatives to use when making different types of natural remedies, so that the products do not go moldy and/or rancid, therefore extending shelf life.
I enjoyed your elderberry syrup recipe and look forward to creating more remedies.
Thank you!
Vicki
Jacqueline
Hi, Vicki!
Depending on the use of the remedy (taken orally, applied to skin, etc.) you might look at using just a drop or 2 of citricidal (grape seed extract) https://amzn.to/2ZDihad (which can be bitter if taken orally)
or virgin coconut oil (if firmness is not a problem)
or a few drops of a blend of the antimicrobial essential oils like rosemary, tea tree, lemon, cinnamon and clove (getting close to Thieves).
THere may be others I am not thinking about right now, but these will all give a good shelf life depending on how they are stored. I hope that helps! 😀
Blessings, J
Michele Basler
Hey Jacqueline, I’m a new subscriber. I got your email about loving research so I’m curious… because I’m choosing not to vaccinate, what will my kids options be for military service? Will they be required to get all 4576 shots ? in one day or not enlist in the military? Or can they join unvaccinated or something in between? Thanks!
Jacqueline
Hi, Michele! Boy, I don’t think I know anyone who can be passed through basic without their (seemingly) thousands of shots! I am very concerned about the physical state of many of our servicemen due to their crazy schedule of over vaccination. It is basically being shut down in the media and online. This post is older (2003), but still relevant: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/military-mute-on-vaccine-danger/
I know a LOT of military wives and their husbands are all not really well in one way or another and there is concern. One young man in the National Guard who was seeking to marry our daughter had his repeated annual flu shot and was terribly sick 4 years in a row, but they still made him take it – it was like they shamed him.. I still keep in close touch with him and want to give him TRS to detox the metals. Btw, you may want to know more about TRS if your son decides to make the military his route. Let me know if so.. Blessings, J
Michele
Wow! Just read your 2003 article and yes I would like to know everything about TRS! My sons are actually only 3 and 1 years old so I have a while and I’m hopeful that regulation, reporting and policies will change for the better in that time. But they come from a long line of military men so it may be inevitable. ??♀️ Have you written about TRS before?
Jacqueline
Hi, Michele, that wasn’t my article, but one that tells the real state of affairs!
I recently started researching TRS after I talked to Allie, Avalyn’s mom, and the incredible gains she made in such a short period of time!
I have written about it here: https://deeprootsathome.com/avalyns-story-how-trs-a-safe-heavy-metal-detox-can-help-you-and-your-child/ I am super stoked bc it is helping so many people!
I am so glad you have protected your children from being vacc’d.
I wish I had known with our oldest, but we never did any more after his reaction.
Blessings! J
Renee Holliday
Hello there, I would really like you to research (or maybe you already have) a pain relief tincture/remedy and sleep tincture/remedy.
Pain relief: something general that is easy to keep on hand, doesn’t go bad and works for anything from general headaches to sore muscles.
Sleep relief: my dtr suffers from severe teeth grinding/tension/tmj/ etc. she has tried CST, CBD oil, magnesium. we were doing melatonin and it helped, but soon after i discovered how bad it is especially for teen girls. So that is out, she has a hard time falling asleep and she grinds her teeth nightly (she has chipped teeth). She wears a mouthguard to protect teeth. I need something to help her relax and sleep.
Jacqueline
Renee, it sounds like she has inflammation of her brain and central nervous system as well as heavy metals in her brain that are causing this irritability. This is not unusual. Are you on FB so we can PM?
If you give me your full FB name and what your profile image looks like I can friend you. I have a 2 ingredient product that will not be a bandaid fix, but get to the root cause. Has she been vaccinated?
This post will help you understand the product a little and then we can talk if you want me to invite you to the closed TRS FB group so you cans see for yourself! https://deeprootsathome.com/avalyns-story-how-trs-a-safe-heavy-metal-detox-can-help-you-and-your-child/ if I do not tell you about TRS, it would be wrong.
Blessings, J
Ruth Henderson
Insomnia….
(more than magnesium deficiency) possibly hormonal?
Jacqueline
Ruth, did you know that TRS will balance and (in many cases) eradicate insomnia? If I wrote a post on it, it would get to the underlying cause and root them out..
Mandy
My husband suffered a heart attack 11 years ago at age 47, and has 3 stents. He takes 2 blood pressure meds as well as being on a statin which gives him a lot of muscle pain and weakness. He also is a very poor sleeper. He is a welder, and I recently heard Dr. Daniel Amen who is a prominent brain specialist say that he never met a welder who didn’t have toxicity in their brain. The issue I have is that my husband is rather skeptical of natural medicine, and we are on a very tight budget so I don’t have money to spend on things that “might” help!
Jacqueline
Hi, Mandy! I saw your comment and understand the concerns you voiced. I do know that TRS is a far better bet then “might help”, and I would highly recommend it to you, but it will have to be the Lord to convict you (and him) in your hearts. I will leave that to Him. It DOES successfully pull and fully remove heavy metals and all the toxins that he acquired from the surgery/anesthesia time and statins, etc. It is dirt cheap compared to a future life of debilitation and chronic pain and future dementia. I can advise and walk through the 6-8 months it will take if you ever feel led. It is a 2 ingredient spray into the mouth and I would not be at all inclined to put my reputation out there on something that was a waste of time if it wasn’t bonafide. Let me know if I can help you. ~J
Paula
Hi, Jackie. I recently found your blog and have been very interested and encouraged by many of your articles. We, too, have had our children late in life after fourteen years of infertility. I also had to give up my dream of being pregnant because I felt it was consuming me. In the middle of a six-year wait for an adoption from China, we unexpectedly found we were pregnant just before I turned forty. The Lord blessed us with a beautiful daughter and then a handsome biological son a year and a half later. Another year and a half later, we finally adopted our beautiful Chinese daughter. We are homeschooling all three and loving it. I especially have appreciated your articles on rearing children “unplugged.” Perhaps because we are older, we are extremely sparing in the amount of technology that our children are exposed to. We live very differently than most other people I know. How do we keep our children from being lonely when all the other kids at church have such different viewpoints on such things?
I am also very interested to find that you had advanced Lyme’s disease and are recovering. My sister was just diagnosed with Lyme’s last December. She has struggled with unusual symptoms for years which the Lyme’s diagnosis seems to explain. She is unable to tolerate antibiotics and has many food allergies. Do you have any advice from your experience for her? I searched for any blogs on the topic but perhaps missed them.
Paula
Jacqueline
Hello, Paula! It is in interesting that we have so many parallels in life. We just had to keep praying the Lord would find us like-minded families to do life with and even worship with -which He did.
You sister’s inability to take antibiotics is what I experienced, so it drove us to homeopathy, but it is tremendously expensive. For 4 of our family it cost over $30,000. with a wonderful ND, and so we switched to a different product that addresses the root cause and detox with that. It is 1/200th of the cost and we are seeing the complete end of all symptoms. (Now we just found some mold, and so into a new journey). There is a 70,000+family stong closed FB group that shares stories of the victories, questions, and gives support to those in process. I am in that group and so would offer to tell her about it. It is the only other thing that has worked to get to the root cause and is not a bandaid. It breaks down biofilms and the metals that hold them together (where the co-infections live).
Have you read Avalyn’s Story? It will help you to understand much more: https://deeprootsathome.com/avalyns-story-how-trs-a-safe-heavy-metal-detox-can-help-you-and-your-child/
If your sis is interested, I will invite her on FB, so she will need to let me know her FB name and profile image so I can find her to friend.
Blessings, J
Paula
Thank you. She does not have a FB account, but I will share your offer with her. She is about to launch into a new treatment program.
Jacqueline
Paula, if you would be willing, I can send the info to your FB message and she can read and learn on the FB group. Or she can leave a comment with her email and I can send information that way. Glad to help if needed! !J
Donna Bernados
Can you please research and speak about RAD (Reactive Attachment Disorder)/DTD (Developmental trauma Disorder)? There are so many parents, especially Moms, that are suffering because of this mental illness, including me. We need as much coverage about this as possible to get our families and children the help that is needed. I have found a great online support group (Attach Families) and the founder, Katie Rose, has been a God send to me, as well as many others. Please, please, please can you help us spread the word???
Jacqueline
Donna, can you tell me a bit about it here? Like the best link you have so I can read? I am dealing with a huge mold remediation and have been hit with it terribly just yesterday. I would like to learn more, but need to be jump started! Thank you, friend! ~J
Sherri
I also would like to see an article to stir an awakening about DTD “Developmental Trauma Disorders” & (RAD) “Reactive Attachment Disorder” which happens to children who are raised in trauma. Thousands of adoptive parents are drowning trying to get resources for their children only to be villanized by providers who are supposed to help. Providers who are covering their butts by throwing adoptive parents under the bus because they truly know nothing about it and don’t like being told that by parents who are living with it. Parents are forced into “unground” FB groups filled with literally THOUSANDS of other parents who are needing support and living in situations someone from the outside could only imagine. Please, please consider helping us bring awareness. God Bless
Jacqueline
Hi, Sherri! Could you send me the best link you have on DTD and RAD so I can read more? I am dealing with a huge mold remediation and my health has been hit with it terribly just yesterday. I would like to learn more, but need to be jump started! Thank you, friend!
Chris
Hello! I’m watching the news talking about why people are dying from vaping, and so far they suspect that oil that has been vaporized gets into the lungs and builds up on walls causing serious problems. How is that different from everyone who uses a diffuser with essential oils? I’m very interested to hear what you think since I just bought oils for that very purpose! Thank you!
Jacqueline
Hi, Chris!
Good question.
I think there is a big difference.
1. The chemicals in vaping products are toxic to the body: flavorants such as diacetyl, a chemical linked to serious lung disease, volatile organic compounds, and heavy metals, such as nickel, tin, and lead.
2. Vaping is inhaled in high concentration by pulling in the fumes/smoke/mist directly into the relatively small lungs.
3. EOs are actually helpful to us when used properly and not in high concentration. The diffuser is diffusing into a large room and so the concentration is low. Also, I never advise anyone to diffuse 24/7, but on 1 hour and off 3-4 or a similar schedule. Still one needs to know their oils! Like thyme is a no-no for children, etc.
I hope I got the gist of your question! I am horrified that this is happening, and did find that TRS has helped at least one have a distaste for vaping! Yay!
Blessings, J!
Chris
Thank you for that helpful explanation. I was just surprised when they said it was an oil that was collecting and causing a problem, though they didn’t mention what kind of oil.
Laura Watson
Jaqueline,
You recently posted about Omegas/fish oil to help the brain. Okay, so recently I learned about a different side to this that I am battling with. Read the PEO Solution . by Brian Peskin He talks about the fish oil fallacies and using Omega 6 plant oils instead.
Jacqueline
Laura, my opinion is that what grandmothers did for centuries is best! I understand the potential toxicity, but I only buy tested CLO. I also use a specific product that keeps us completely free of new toxins on a daily basis. Many thousands are now using it to stip out heavy metals, plastic residues, pesticides, fluoride, and other things with a positive charge. The moms even have clean breastmilk!
Brittany Von Rissen
Hi! I’m so glad you asked what topics you can research for us. There’s one that’s been nagging me. I’m new to your blog so please forgive me if you’ve already covered this. I would like to get a radiation blocking sticker for my cell phone. When I went to buy them on Amazon, I saw a wide range of prices and it made me wonder, how do you know which ones work. There are brands like Defender Shield that can be trusted, but they’re large covers that are very expensive. I would really, really appreciate it if you could find out about the stickers for me. Thanks so much and God bless you?
Jacqueline
Brittany, I am researching that right now, but will need to take time to really KNOW I am giving the correct info. This is what we are using now, until I can learn more!
I have these all around my desk with my PC, in my kitchen and carry one in my purse always.
We have purchased them for our grown children as well. Our oldest son is a pilot for Delta and he always has one on his person.

Holly Bell
Hi! I’ve been following your Facebook page for some time now and have reached “top fan” status! I love your posts! They are so informative and full of solid research.
I would love to read more about the MTHFR gene mutation and the effects that synthetic vitamins have on it versus their natural, whole food counterparts. I had a DNA test come back positive for it (compound heterozygous), and I suspect that it could have contributed to my son being born with a cleft lip (though there are still other possible environmental factors). This has also brought up issues in finding a supplemental formula to feed my son as all in-store infant formulas contain the synthetic form of folic acid, and being compound heterozygous with MTHFR, I have at least passed it on in part to my son, so he isn’t able to take formulas with folic acid in it (not to mention that there’s a bunch of other questionable ingredients in conventional formulas). We use the only (goats milk) formula that I’ve been able to find that has methylfolate in it.
Jacqueline
Hi, Holly! Yes, MTHFR affects so many things! And many don’t even know about it or if they have it. I currently have 2 posts that go deeper into this issue: https://deeprootsathome.com/b-vitamins-and-turning-genes-on-off-by-shoshanna-easling/ and this is the main post on MTHFR and supplements https://deeprootsathome.com/poor-methylation-mthfr/
I will need to think about a post on finding formulas that are not contaminated. I do have one of infant formulas here, but it is more about soy… https://deeprootsathome.com/why-soy-infant-formula-is-so-harmful-to-babies/
Nolly, I will put it into the mix, bc it is a worthy topic!
Could you get back here and share the name and brand of the goat’s milk formula you found?? I would be very interested to use that information in the soy formula post and point mamas there!
Blessings, J
Holly Bell
We use Sammy’s Milk formula. It’s marketed as a toddler formula, but when I’ve researched making my own infant formula, they contained the same ingredients as this toddler formula. I suspect that it’s marketed for toddlers because there are more specific FDA guidelines for infant formulas, but I’m not entirely sure.
Lorinda
Hi Jacqueline,
I adore your website, you are so generous with sharing your knowledge so many areas. I am interested in you finding a study from the University of Maryland. I do not know how you do your research and the digging to find the facts. So, I am hoping you are able to be a super sleuth! When I was a teen, I babysat for a family whose Mom had cancer. She was a part of a study being conducted through the U of Maryland. Her group was given a very strict diet to eat. All I know is that the group she was in survived and whatever the other group did, did not. I was wondering if you can find that study and if the specific foods and regiment could be searched out. I vividly remember sitting on their couch and looking at the tempting chocolate cake on the front cover of a woman’s magazine and making a comment that it look really good to eat. The dad look at me and said, “That will kill you.” I have the picture of their living room still in my head. To a teen that comment was crazy at the time, since our family was following the Feingold Diet for ADD, I thought we were already giving up ‘food’.
Jacqueline
Thank you, Lorinda! I have looked and have found nothing! BUT, I did find this site that is alternative medical care for cancer patients. I wonder if calling them and asking about talking to someone there who could direct you?
I hope that helps some! https://cim.umaryland.edu/Patient-Care/IM4CC/
THe comment your friend made about the cake though, makes me think they knew that sugar feeds cancer and other metabolic problems, so they were warning you of that with their comment! A lot of oncologists have bowls of candy in their waiting rooms! They have to KNOW it feeds cancer, but they still leave them out in may oncologist’s waiting rooms! Read this: https://deeprootsathome.com/reasons-cut-sugar/ and this https://thetruthaboutcancer.com/sugar-white-death/
I hope this helps, my friend! God bless you ~J

Have you considered using the Bemer machine. ?
It helped me with Irvan syndrome which only 20 people have been written about having the situation.
Look up bemer group and some YouTube testimonials based on what you have. In my opinion, it is worth the investment.

Tatiana Carlson, I am writing you an email right now! Merry Christmas, friend! ~J

Hi Jacque
I would like to know how I can get politically involved? I would like to give my time and energy to companies fighting the vaccine world that is hurting so many children.
Shawn Tucker
Hello Jacqueline!
I so enjoy your posts and thank you so much for this opportunity to ‘pick your brain’!
My question is regarding healing damage form a vaccine injury many years ago. Our son lost his hearing due to nerve damage caused by the MMR vaccine when he was 2 years old – he just turned 29. Do you know of any successful protocols for hearing nerve damage, hearing loss, etc, that we could look into?
Thank you so much and hope you have a very happy and blessed Christmas!
S. Tucker
Jacqueline
I will email you now, Shawn!
Merry Christmas! ~J
Janelle
Merry Christmas! Thank you for your caring heart! I love the sincerity in your emails and blog. I’m not sure what exactly I’m looking for, but encouragement in chaos of motherhood and marriage is one idea. I’m a mom of four and a caregiver to my hubby who has Ankylosing Spondylitis. My youngest two have food intolerance issues. I’m interested in learning more about gut health and proper nutrition. For my hubby we have low starch dinners, for my littles we avoid wheat and cow milk. For myself nursing the baby I avoid corn, soy, chocolate, artificial ingredients, and oats. My oldest daughter is 14 and struggles with sleeping and drinking enough water. Then I also homeschool so my brain feels like mush often times!
Jacqueline
Dear Janelle, I am emailing you now! Hang in there, friend. Love, ~J
Steph
Hi Jacqueline ,
First, Merry Christmas!! Second, thank you for all you do! I have been following you for 4 years and love every post. I wish I would have know most of these things 10 years ago (I am now 40 and mom to three daughter 13,10,7) Third, I would love for you to research long term effects on vasectomies on men. I regretfully convinced my husband to get one after our third daughter. I recently came across a podcast from “Above Rubies” about how unsafe they are!
Thank you!
Jacqueline
Yes, Steph! I hear your heart, dear one. I do know they do have some long term affects on men. It is a great idea for a post , and so I will add it to my list to research! Do you remember which podcast from Above Rubies that you listened to?
Abundant blessings for your family as you seek Him and his unmatched wisdom!
Much love this Christmas! ~J
Steph
Yes! It was episode #79 titled “Not politically correct today!” https://aboverubies.org/index.php/ar-podcasts-transcripts
I appreciate all you do! Blessings
Jacqueline
I am listening now, Steph! What a really good teaching! Thank you for sharing it: http://aboverubies.org/index.php/ar-podcasts-transcripts podcast #79!

What about researching the true effects of
1) foot spa detox bath..turns colors due to ionization
2) ear candles efficiency to pull junk out of ears
Jacqueline
Hi, Chris! I have often wondered about detox foot baths, but just haven’t had the time to research it – mainly bc there are s number of different companies that make them and they may work differently! Have you done any research on them?
Also, I have not ever used an ear candle, but have a goodly number of friends that tell me it is a true viable help to remove gunk in the ear! So, I will add that to my list!
Have you had a restful Christmas so far? Many blessings to you and yours, Chris!

Hi friend! I would like to know more about finding a church home. are we the only ones who struggle with finding solid teaching where the Word is focused on more than anything – not so much emphasis on “community” (A new idol in the church), programs but worshiping God and learning more and growing closer to Him? My husband and I have been looking for 6 years and have attended many, and joined 2 in this time and have had awful experiences. We’ve seen horrible things in the church and are at our wits end finding a church home. The biggest things we see is that Churches are so much like social clubs, or you have leaders who treat it like a business and you a customer whereby you’re no longer important unless you’re regularly attending or serving. We’ve seen Youth church that was nothing more than a place to keep secrets from parents and encourage kids to have sex, just keep it quiet – all mixed in with a few worship songs and bible verses, I’ve been interviewed and attended auditions for praise teams where I was drilled worse than on a job interview and worst of all, we’ve seen affairs that begin on mission trips – it goes on and on and on and has left us jaded and completely understanding why people leave church and stop attending all together (I know that’s wrong and I’m not condoning it, just saying I totally understand.) If you could look into this, and see if it’s a growing trend – growing difficulty in finding a Bible believing and following church home. .
Jacqueline
Michelle, that is horrible! The church in America has surely become very weak (to the point of being a part of the world) in the last may years, but some have become very strong.
I am so sorry that has been your experience. We have been so blessed to find a church where Jesus is preeminent and the word is preached in all its fullness, but it is a really big church…perhaps bc of that… but we have had to become involved (I am in special needs and my husband has his own involvement), but that is how we really became part of the body of Christ with 3 services! 2 of our grown children (all married) are in good, solid churches but don’t have children yet, and so that may change the dynamic a bit. We encourage parents to eep children in church with them despite the size and if they do, then they can also send them (in another worship service period) to the classes for children. They are using Sally Michael’s curriculum, and it is very intense (some would say) but they ARE getting the word and NOT watered down!
https://deeprootsathome.com/teach-whole-counsel-god-bible-stories/
I don’t have a formula for finding a church home, and now you are seeing the Lord to lead you! I trust He is going to provide in His time. I am praying for you now, as well.
Grace and peace, friend!
~J
Ruth
Jacqueline, I love your blog and the great variety of topics you write about! I was glad to see that you have written about the dangers of fluoroquinolones and vaccines. I want to suggest you research and write about another area of iatrogenic harm, a serious health issue that is affecting thousands of women and men, too: the risks and dangers of mesh surgery (for hernias, prolapse, incontinence). Sadly, even though I am a nurse, and did my “research” before having TVT surgery, I became a victim of permanent nerve damage. I learned, too late, that the information I read on “reputable” medical sites was biased and concealed the horrific side effects thousands of women were experiencing. Pelvic mesh is obviously a very personal issue, involving some of the most intimate aspects of being a woman. It’s difficult to talk about, and our voices are also being silenced by the medical community, or written off as looking for a lawsuit. When I went public with my story I was contacted by scores of women who had experienced the same kinds of horrific effects and whose symptoms were being dismissed by the medical community. Thankfully, some meshes have been withdrawn, yet surgeons continue to offer this procedure and women all over the world are still being harmed. Though I did not pursue litigation I did fight, unsuccessfully, for justice from the Canadian medical system. During the year that I was disabled with pain, I collected enormous amounts of information that I would be happy to share with you to jump-start your own research. I also would be happy to share my own story, in hopes that it would raise awareness and warn women away from this very risky surgery.
Jacqueline
Yes, Ruth, I am so sorry and sad to hear that. How horrible and difficult. I am very interested and would love to know more about mesh and its ramifications. I will email you later today! ~J
Kelly
Could you please address chronically ill and chronic pain homemakers? I struggle to get meals on the table. Struggle in every area actually. I have mobility/range of motion problems. Thank you.
Jacqueline
Yes, Kelly, I have a number of times, but each one is so different with different needs. You mention chronic pain and illness. I will email you, friend, and offer help that I know helps. ~J

Hello Jacqueline-
I just read in one of my health books the dangers of cookware such as stainless steel. All my pots and pans are stainless steel!!
Apparently cooking with these materials has been connected to Alzheimer’s disease(which my father recently died from). I was just diagnosed with MCI (Minimal Cognitive Impairment) and fear of all fears that terrible loss of memory. Do you suggest porcelain or iron cookware instead? If the research has been proven with the dangers of stainless steel why do all the stores still sell it? A whole row of it at Walmart as I observed yesterday! Maybe this could be adding to the cause of many forms of dementia. If you put this out there on your website it may be very helpful for prevention to your viewers.
Thank you in advance for responding.
Jacqueline
Patricia, I am not convinced that stainless is harmful. I keep reading but find that the research is not conclusive. I am keeping my stainless at this point and also use cast iron for all my eggs and such. If I do find strong evidence of this I will write about it and switch! I NEVER use coated cookware and am concerned about slow cookers leaching lead…https://deeprootsathome.com/slow-cooker-leaching-lead/
I hope this helps some!!
Blessings, and thank you for asking! ~J
Katie
Hi Jacqueline,
What practical advice do you have for women who are dealing with chronic health issues that keep them mostly house-bound, but who need real-life relationships and real-life mentors? Your online mentorship is such a blessing and I’m very thankful for you and other ladies online who point women to Biblical womanhood and all that entails. I also read biographies of inspiring women and missionaries regularly.
Even with such helpful online and book resources, I find myself wishing for in-person mentorship and the real-life example and relationship that includes. How can a wife/mother who is does not have energy for more than her at-home responsibilities find someone like this? (I do know it starts with much prayer and being led by the Lord!)
I think there are many many people who are experiencing this, so I do not ask just for me. Our screen- and technology-rich lives have not helped our culture in maintaining meaningful in-person relationships with the people in our lives and communities.
Thanks for all you do.
Jacqueline
AW Katie! I hear your heart! That has to be so hard!
I really understand, bc even as much as I have relationship, much of it is online. I meet regularly with 3 young women but that has been irregular b of their schedules. So, I also feel some of that kind of loneliness. My temperament is introverted, so it may not be as intense for me.
One thought I had is to ask the Lord Himself for a young woman or even a younger teen whose family you know (or ask at church) that can come to you to talk! You can introduce her to good books, let her play your piano if you have one, bake or cook together, etc. I know that there are a lot of children who don’t have anyone interested in them at all..
There maybe someone that fits your homebound needs, and maybe there isn’t. Consider:
-writing letters to prisoners
-training to talk/pray on the phone with a ministry who gets calls for help
-writing to grandchildren, legislators who are making bad decisions, a compassion child or 2, etc.
I do think sometimes we have “thorns” that we have to bear. Mine is working often 9 hours a day doing what I do online (writing, texting, answering questions, comments). But I have to work to keep family first, even though we are empty nesters! MY husband is okay, but I must actively try to work him into what the Lord has given me.
One thing I know, that we have a mighty God! He is able! His arm is strong to save! Trust Him and let Him know you are available to use some way He wishes! He can weave it all perfectly in ways we could never imagine!
Warm hugs! ~Jacqueline

I have done approx 200 hours of research (reading/videos) re: vaccines. I am horrified by what I have found out. As Einstein said “knowledge is a privilege, but it is a duty to act.” I am even more sad by my Christian friends who choose to stay uninformed, (even regarding the baby tissue/organs/DNA being used in vaccines), and keep their false sense of security (vaccines and flu shot). My own son, who knew what little I knew and the great harm they cause, married a nurse. A cancer nurse! Now, he is swayed the other way and he himself keeps up with the agenda and gets a yearly flu shot. They are finally able to have a biological baby of their own (after years of IUI and IVF, miscarriages, and 2 adoptions). I feel I am the only one fighting for the healthy brain, healthy life of this unborn grandchild. Of all that is insane re vaccines, I find the Heb B (at minutes old) and the MMR the most drastic. I wrote my son a very unemotional, well informed, factual, logical letter along with several enclosure (CDC schedule, alphabetical list of each vaccine and their ingredients, and another list of the risks of those ingredients), delayed schedule, etc. He refused to let his wife read the letter or any of the enclosures (all of which were printed directly from the internet, nothing I made up). The baby is to be born early March, and because my husband and I won’t be getting the required(by their Drs and by them) flu shot, we are not allowed to see our newborn grandson for 8 weeks. I have 2 letters from 2 different Drs stating medical reasons why a flu shot would do me great harm (Hashimoto’s thyroid numbers are 131, when the highest it should be is “9”). It makes no difference to them why I am not getting a flu shot, but simply that “I” will cause harm to the newborn without it. “I” am the healthy one, all those that get the flu shots (shedding, compromised immune systems) are the unhealthy ones!!! To top it off, my son, after reading my letter and “skimming”? the enclosures, said “we will not talk about this again.” He shut me off. WHY are people choosing to not even listen to something different than what they think is truth. I honestly don’t understand. Why is my son, (when I told him I am looking out for the health and safety of our grandson, his son), why are my close Christian friends saying things like “I don’t even care about this?”, even when I mention the aborted baby DNA being injected into people…… I have to say I am mystified. I am willing to loan out DVD’s (Vaxxed, The Truth about Vaccines, etc.), but no one is interested. So many baby, young adult deaths (HPV, etc.), so many, many babies, children, young adults, adults, maimed for life with various seizures, paralysis, diseases, and other life long tragedies (ADHD, asthma, cancer, incontinence, alzheimers, parkinsons, etc.). Please give me your insight. And please advise what I can do with so much factual truth I have, to share it as a warning to those who don’t yet know.
Jacqueline
Mary, somehow they are blinded and there is nothing you can do but pray. Sadly, even your best efforts may make them plan their feet more~
1 Cor. 4:4-6: “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
I am praying this little one will somehow be strong and hearty once born! Otherwise they MAY have their eyes opened in light of you warnings. do not expect them, though, to acknowledge right away that they were wrong if that happens. Still that child is precious as is all life and may do a lot to change them in ways only our Father can know!
Praying for you and them and this new little life! ~J
Jacqueline
Mary, I just emailed you! Let’s talk! Hugs, J
Holly Edwards
Hello Jacqueline,
I’m putting together Bible verses and scientific studies in a paper called “The Biblical Response to Aborted Fetal Medicine, The Lies that Further its Use and The Truth about its Consequences.” I’m close to finishing and am working on getting it edited. If you are interested at all I would love to get your opinion on the content, but completely understand if you’re busy. My goal is to put the most pertinent information that one would need to know before they get any vaccines using Aborted Fetal cell lines in one place, along with a Biblical Christian perspective of the subject. Once it’s complete I want to get it to as many people and churches as possible, with the goal of giving them free information so they can be fully informed before they make the decision to receive these vaccines.
Thank you for your time!
Jacqueline
Holly, I would love to read/edit alongside you! I will email you! I am swamped but can give it a reading! I love what you are doing!! ~J
Brooke Menefee
I really enjoy everything you post and research.

Kaycee Stepp
I enjoy reading these comments! I agree with so many.
Your posts are so different from most anything and bring a fresh perspective. I so appreciated your responding to a question I had about mold in our apartment. I was really worried about it and you offered practical advice and even came back to check on me later. (Although I didn’t have time to respond…sorry about that!)
I love that you back up your posts with sources that I can go see for myself, and that you usually land back at scripture as if to say “this is why it is important to think about these things”.
“For such a time as this” God encouraged you to start a blog. Be encouraged!
Jacqueline
Kaycee Stepp, that is so kind, and I feel you really captured where I want to end up any post… on the biblical way to look at/handle very complex issues. I am encouraged and grateful! To God be the total glory!
Also, I am happy to hear that the mold issue is hopefully a thing of the past and that you were helped! I dislike mold very much! Lol
Warmly, Jacqueline

On the religion question.. I tend to follow a more spiritual path rather than a specific religion .. 🙂
Jacqueline
Linda Carlson, good to know. Thank you.
Do you know Jesus Christ? That is who I follow.
He died on a cross to saved me from the pit of death (where I was headed on this earth and beyond) and gave me sweet peace and utterly changed my life! Here is my story so you can decide if this is for you: https://deeprootsathome.com/now-i-value-life/

Amethyst Mom
Hello,
Thank you for your blog. What about things like –
1. Transitioning from being discipled by an older woman to becoming an older woman who disciples – and when in relation to when our children are all grown…?
2. Fasting both for health and for seeking the Lord.
3. How to grow more in discipline as a wife/mother with young adult children.
4. Identity in Christ. Have you read Victory Over the Darkness and the Bondage Breaker or other books on this?
5. Have you completed the Behold Your God series on the attributes of God and roots of sin?
6. What would you like to have known in your early-mid 40’s that you know now.
7. More on interceding for our family, their future spouses and our future grandchildren.
Jacqueline
Yes, Amethyst Mom! Yes to all of that, and some of that is already partially addressed in earlier posts! I have not read the Bondage Breaker of Victory Over Darkness, but will check them out as I have time. Also the Behold Your God Series! Thank you! Jacqueline
Rebecca McFadden
I’m an avid reader and seldom responder! But Thank you, thank you for your posts!!! Your friend, Rebecca

Rebecca, thank you for letting me know that! It is such an encouragement to have some feedback to know the direction the Lord wants me to go in this new crazy turbulent season!
Lord bless you and your family! ~Jacqueline
Deborah
Both my granddaughter & my great niece, have been diagnosed with PANS – Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Syndrome. My granddaughter is 17; my great niece, 5. When my great niece was diagnosed in November, 2018, I bought books about PANS for my daughter. She had taken her daughter to doctors in five states & received no help. It’s too long a tale to detail here. But, my daughter became convinced that her child does have PANS & found a doctor to treat her. He confirmed my daughter’s conclusion & has been treating her since June, 2019. He also discovered that she has 5 tick-borne illnesses – Lyme & 2 sub-types of Lyme, bartonella, & borellia. We had despaired of her recovering, & I recently asked for prayer on a FB post where you took requests. She is now making slow progress. I believe that there are probably many children who have PANS/PANDAS & are diagnosed as autistic or insane or having a food avoidance disorder. These children could be helped with proper treatment. The sooner the disease is treated, the greater the chance for recovery. My great niece was diagnosed only a few weeks after she began displaying OCD symptoms & is now in remission. She lives in a large Western city with many kinds of doctors; my granddaughter, in the rural South, though she had been to doctors in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Texas, & Tennessee. My daughter did not want to give up on her child or allow her to take mood-altering drugs without a reason. It has been a long, sad, exhausting, depressing journey.
Jacqueline
Deborah, I would like to email you as I have a recommendation that is helping many others with PANS, OCD, and advanced Lyme’s – all the things you mention!

Emily B Spaulding
Jacque, I would love for some posts now and then about our rights as Christian parents in the United States, both medically, religiously and homeschool/private/public school related. These days the world has gone crazy and completely immoral. I want to raise my daughter with moral values and it’s becoming more and more difficult to do so. Any information on my legal rights as a parent would be great. Thank you for reading!
Jacqueline
Emily B. Spaulding, I have some things I would like to share! Thank you for giving me your feedback! I so appreciate it!

Ann guillaume
I have been reading your blog for years. Not daily by any means, but I read many entries at a sitting. I have used many of your ideas and advice etc. Truly am thankful for your content as well as the beauty/organization of your website.
My only “critique” is that on occasion lately I have left overwhelmed/fearful/discouraged when reading the posts about current events or ways we are to be suspicious of medical field etc. I am not necessarily disagreeing with any of it, I just cant always engage it because I cant leave with haunting fear which I sometimes do. I realize this may not be something possible to fix and still stay true to what you feel called to write, but I just thought I would share as it has affected me.
Jacqueline
Hi, Ann! I appreciate that feedback.
It is a concern for all of us to push aside fear as we read. God hasn’t given us that spirit of fear…
The concerning alternative is not knowing – and then not being able to pray. I must write what the Lord gives me, and I assure you, I do pray hard to be sure that is what I am supposed to write. The truth of the gospel will set us free, but coupling that with knowledge and prayer, we can hopefully prepare and not be deceived. We are commanded in 2 places:
1 John 4:1 – Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world…. and
Colossians 2:8 – Beware, lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
I hope that helps!
Keep the Son in your eyes!
Jacqueline

Hi Jackie,
I too really enjoy reading your posts but very rarely respond. Thank you for all your research and willingness to share. I can relate to a lot of what you share and am blessed by your research and your boldness.

Love your transparency x
Your articles keep us grounded and encourage us to continue walking in His ways through the reading and study of the Word and to remind us of our roles as women, wives, mothers and other, to share and to teach our younger women. Your writings are an excellent resource that I often use with our daughter and daughters-in-law (3 of them!)and some of their beautiful young Christian church- women friends.
God bless you x

Thank you, Louise! I find there is strength in numbers..all of us praying in one accord for the Lord to be revealed in all His glory! Pls pray the Lord will guide me (and all of us!). I am seeking how He can use me.
God bless your whole family and draw you all closer to Himself esp now that the things we had trusted in are fading!

I thought you’d like to know that Amazon gives large sums of money to BLM. They are a Marxist organization. Every time something is purchased some of that money is given to BLM. We cancelled our Amazon account, which was very painful to do but we didn’t want any of our money going to them. Thought you’d like to know. Thanks for your email. I enjoy what you share

Hi, Debi!
I know…now 🙁 It makes me sick, and I need to make so decisions about what to do also! Using Amazon it is so easy, sadly!
Thank you for that reminded! Pls pray the Lord will guide me. I am seeking how He can use me. So many things to address!! ~Jacqueline

Please don’t stop sharing! You were one of the very first women/ blogs I came across when I first had a computer in my home 10-15+ years ago… I specially want to hear from older, Biblically sound, grounded women like yourself.
I’m sure it isn’t always easy to open yourself & to share but Thank you so much ! 💗🙏🏻
Jacqueline
Heather C, your words are such an encouragement! God is so faithful! That means YOU have been one I’ve prayed for for years! I always ask(ed) the Lord to send those he wants, and that I can leave the work to Him!
He is also merciful to give me strength and just what I need when I need it!
Thank you! God bless you, Heather, and your whole family <3
Jacqueline
Heather C
Aww, this is wonderful to hear! I never knew that someone I didn’t even know was praying for me all these years as I was i the thick of bearing & raising my babies 😊💗🙏🏻
I sure needed those prayers! Don’t stop! And now, I’m reminded to return that kindness.
May the Lord bless you & keep you & your household 🙏🏻
Jacqueline
Aw, Heather! Thank you so much! Even though I haven’t met you, I feel a connection to young moms like you and not so young moms like me. Life is hard, we have an enemy, and we need to be asking for mercy and strength for other daughters in Christ! I trust that He hears when we pray humbly and earnestly, and so I believe He answers our requests within his sovereignty!
Mom Again here
Hello,
Have you covered eliminating parasites? Black seed oil, fasting, turpentine and other ways? Also how having them can be related to various issues like iron deficiency and other problems. Also how to know what to do if you are passing them.
Jacqueline
Hi, Mom Again here!!
I have landed on probably the best way to pass parasites, and it is the TRS detox (because that is not all it does). It is important to know that TRS does not heal or cure anything (incl parasites), but it clears the body of toxins/metals and such so the body can heal and rebalance itself as God designed it to do! This will tell you more and if you are interested, read this: https://deeprootsathome.com/heavy-metals-need-to-go-they-are-food-for-viruses-bacteria-fungi/ and then I can email you with stories from families I work with!
Blessings, Jacqueline
Mom Again
Thank you. I will read the stories from that link. Have you ever covered cyclical migraines? I’ve tried to do research online and even you tube and find very little. Most info is on migraines alone or on other cycle issues like cramps or irritability. I’m looking for help on ending cyclical migraines. Things that haven’t helped are bioidentical hormones, dietary changes, Standard Detox plan, weight loss, vitamins and even testosterone shots (drs bad idea). So far I have found that it may be some elusive root that my doctors haven’t found and most just want to rx hypertension meds and strong migraine – no root cause elimination.
Jacqueline
Hi, there Mom Again! I do have a recommendation and will email you in a little bit!
Jacqueline
Debi
I, too, would like to know how to eliminate cyclical migraines. I’ve tried diet, water, walking and all to no avail. The only thing that works is meds and I’d like to get off them (fortunately I only need them when I have a migraine)
Jacqueline
Hi, Debi!
I will email you on this! ~Jacqueline

Elizabeth Elliot
Hi,i follow your page on facebook and enjoy reading your posts.
I have been married for 30 years to a man who was recently diagnosed with Aspergers. My marriage has been a puzzle and very hard but the diagnosis has helped us to perhaps see where things have been difficult. We have 5 adult children,6 grandchildren,my youngest is special needs,my first son from an abusive relationship.
I have a very deep faith of which i am very grateful for as without it,my life would be even more of a struggle. My husband too has a faith but struggles with the personal bit.
Our marriage does not come under the’normal’ parameters and i have to take the lead in most things including bill paying, biblical teaching, checking up on the children,he doesnt think to contact anyone, plans for the future etc etc,my emotional needs go unmet and it is a struggle. He is very good practical wise,he helps me with most things eg washing up,preparing meals etc. If i get upset, most of the time he walks away as he can’t deal with it and he will get angry. This is something we are working on. Unfortunately the undiagnosed Aspergers has caused some damage as have been thrown into a very confusing situation as he can come across as being verbally abusive. I now realise why he does it and am well read about it and have a very good understanding of it. Whilst understanding of it i am trying to heal self with everything that has gone on and realise the effect it has had on me.
I have health problems plus i have had anxiety/depression due to the stress in my life.
As a woman who wants to be lead/cared for in the biblical sense it is hard sometimes to know how to be in this marriage. Fortunately i am a strong lady,my strength coming from God but i am also fragile. My husband gets upset he can’t do this,is very self aware and at times it can be heartbreaking for both of us.
Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated.
Thank you
Elizabeth
Jacqueline
Hi, Elizabeth!
I will email you…too personal for here 😀
Hang in there and Keep the Son in your eyes!

Hi Jackline, I’m a mom of 3, two boys 5 and 3 and a a little girl 4mo. I came upon your blog about 2 years ago and have been a regualar ever since. My eldest is fully vaccinated although we didn’t finish the last round of shots at 4years. The 3yo partially vaccinated and the baby nothing. It’s hard to make these decisions alone. We are from South Africa, but live in South Korea where my hubby is a teacher at an International School. All international schools have a globalistic mindset and vision and most of them use some for of UN curriculum. We decided to homeschool, which places in the spotlight as we are literaly the only family among hundreds on our island to do so. It’s lonly, but I know this is what God has called us to do. It’s not easy. I love all your posts and find them so informative, especially ones on raising boys. My boys are so active and it drives me crazy somedays. Anyway…I’m blabbering. Just wanted to say we enjoy your posts all the way her from South Korea.
Jacqueline
Dear Natascha!
I am praying for you as I read your story here. The Lord has led you and you will deliver it according to His will!
Augustine said, ““Grant what Thou commandest, and command what Thou dost desire.” I have changed that a bit to “Lord command what you will and then give what you command!” so if the Lord wants us to do it, He will give us what we need to do it!
Thank you for your encouragement!
PS: I would love to build up an army of “saints” who are willing to pray as we are told in 2 Chronicles 7:14. We can be called “The Awareful Prayerful!” I am more and more censored, so I’m inviting you to join me as I attempt to communicate more freely on email. Jacqueline,
I just wanted to take a moment to say how much I appreciate all you are doing online. You have shown me how to be courageous as I advocate for my children out in the world, and you are such a wonderful font of information for taking care of my family at home. Your faith and knowledge are a huge encouragement and blessing, and I am particularly grateful for your thorough research on topics like vaccines! Thank you for being a voice of truth in this weary world. I pray for you and the work you do – and I wish I could be your next-door neighbor! 🙂 You are appreciated.

Hi Jacqueline, It is a pleasure to write to you. I have been reading your blog since 5 or 6 years ago and it has been of blessing to my life. I am originally from Colombia, Latin America, but I live in Florida 15 years ago with my family. My testimony is similar to you, I think that is why I identify with you so much. It seems that you have certain passions that I share with you, specially the love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Thank you for what you do. The grace of God always be with you.
Blessings
Jacqueline
THank you, Marisol! Thank you for your sweet encouragement and openness about your love for Jesus!
These are times we need to be drawing very close to the Lord!
Keep the Son in your eyes!
Love to you and prayers, Jacqueline

Crystal Thompson
Hi Jackie,
My name is Crystal and I already consider you my mentor! I’ve decided that I will give out your ‘Vital vaccine info’ ebook to everyone I know who has a baby, along with a gift. I’m so thankful for that! So a new issue has emerged (many right?!) , and that is our rights and wishes as we enter into a hospital setting, whether for birth or other reasons. M pregnant with my 5th and I’m thinking about speaking with an attorney and being armed with knowledge AND MY OWN FORMS, rather than being informed and bullied when I get there. The issues I’m thinking of are these: will they require COVID testing, will they attempt to separate my baby from my husband and I if positive or false positive?. Will they send us to the COVID floor if we refuse testing? Will they require us to sign forms that admit neglect like they do with Heb B? What can I draw up to refuse ALL prophelaxis including biologics for my baby that will actually be binding even in an emergency where I’m unconscious? A packet would be amazing! There are so many concerns right now and each hospital has different policies! I’ve heard of these things being done or threatened. I want my husband to be informed and confident too. He is not for homebirth though he said we could meet with a midwife and create a back up plan in case of who knows what happens by this winter! I’m thankful for that. I do plan on researching all this but I have two homeschooling boys, a toddler and one on the way, God always makes a way. Thank you so much for all you do! It really is making a difference!
Jacqueline
Hi, Crystal! You are so kind to tell me that! I am humbled and also feel the weight of it! Thank you!
I just keep clinging to the Lord for strength! We are working on a post for home birth, bc I am feeling more and more that it is the safest and most beautiful option today. The safety stats bear it out simply bc there is less doctor nurse intervention where they want to give meds and intervene when the Lord has designed the body to do what it has done for millenia by itself! But a close second would be a free standing birthing center which is what our daughter just did 5 months ago and our DIL will do in January. I would strongly urge you to avoid a hospital bc the 3rd cause of death today is from medical care! It is hard to believe but true! Fidn a good midwife and read “Born in Zion” by Carol Balizet if you can get it: https://amzn.to/2ZIkDqC It is worth every penny!
I am praying for you now!! Lord bless you and your sweet family!

I took the survey & checked every box bc I love all the topics and everything you share is SO helpful. Thank you for taking the time & energy to post about difficult things & even endure the backlash that sometimes comes. Please know that SO many of us are deeply grateful for you!!!
Jacqueline
Hi, Kari!
That is neat to know that you have checked all the Lord boxes! I can’t wait to see the outcome of the survey! 😀
Well, keep praying (bc I’m not a natural writer!) Ha, and I will keep trusting and writing!

Thankyou for the research you do to help us in our health related decisions for us & our families. Thankyou for including sources of your researching in your posts, as fact checking has become hugely important. When covid19 hit, we felt we were better informed & equipped to strengthen our bodies’ ability to fight off the virus & to help the body to stay healthier. Having positive steps to take, rather than just waiting to see if we got sick, also helped us to not feel so helpless. Most importantly, we are bible believing Christians & we know that the Lord will provide all that we need for whatever comes our way, including sound wisdom in this time of great uncertainty & fear in our world. Sharing our hope in Jesus with others around us & sharing His love is what He has for us to do, especially now.
Jacqueline
Debbie, your attitude of trust in Christ will carry you through this. So many are bereft of hope and the insight only Christ can give through His Holy Spirit when we seek Him!
It is a pleasure to share what he gives me! Pls pray that I can do as I’m led! It is a delight to serve in this way!
Blessings to you and your dear family!!
Jacqueline
Sheila
I appreciate your blog and all you do to mentor women. I especially appreciate well researched articles in general, but specifically when you share about health issues with all of your links to information you share. Especially if their are peer reviewed articles. And also Bible references included.
I would enjoy a daily or weekly quick devotional with Bible verses if that were something you were interested or had time for.
I appreciate your honesty in your testimony! 🙂
Thanks for being so open and honest and sharing what the Lord had done for you! 🙂 It is so encouraging!
Jacqueline
Thank you, Sheila! I am asking for a way to do many of these things, knowing it will be less than I envision in my mind! I feel like I’m drinking from a firehose with all the many crazy things happening now. I will do my best!
God bless you and yours, friend! Jacqueline

Dear Jackie
I would just like to thank you personally for standing up and being that older woman that we, as younger moms and women can look up to for advice on a range of topics. I live continents away from family and close friends and raise 3 spunky kids while hubby works long hours and studies at night so that he can better provide for us. Your wealth of information, research and advice is my go to when I need specific information. I just don’t have the time to always dive full on into researching with 3 kids under 5, homeschooling and basically being a single parent during this season in our lives.
Thank you so much for your wisdom and obedience to our Father. You are impacting more than one generation on this side of the world.
Love from South Korea
