The following information is based on a report originally published by A Midwestern Doctor. I bring you a vastly shortened summary for brevity and clarity. Read the original report and supporting science here.

The Hepatitis B vaccine was mandated for children to attend public schools in 46 states, but now this has all changed.

[UPDATE: as of 12/5/25, the Hep B vaccine has been REMOVED from the mandatory schedule for newborns. ACIP member Retsef Levi, Ph.D., said that for parents whose children were at extremely low risk, the decision to give them the vaccine was analogous to flying in a plane — they wouldn’t get in a plane that hadn’t been safety tested, why should they give their child a vaccine that hadn’t been safety tested.]

Hepatitis B infection is transmitted via needles or sexual contact, yet this vaccine was pushed on babies on their first day of life.

Why?

We finally have answers to why they wanted to remove it from the mandatory list.

Now, for the first time in decades, the CDC’s vaccine advisory panel considered changes to the childhood vaccine schedule, especially the hepatitis B shot.

First, there was a huge shake-up involving Sharon Monarez and the CDC vaccine chief Dr Demetre Daskalakis at the CDC:

Recently, former CDC director Susan Monarez was unable to explain why we vaccinated newborns for hepatitis B.

The hepatitis B virus is, after all, a bloodborne pathogen with transmission typically occurring through unprotected sex, blood exchanges like shared needles, and mother-to-child transmission during childbirth.

Only one of these risk factors is relevant to a newborn, but expectant mothers are typically screened for hepatitis B during their prenatal care anyway.

So why exactly did we give it to all newborns? Does anyone know? Were we protecting them for a lifetime of unprotected sex and drugs? Does any protective effect from the vaccine even last that long?

The many concerns surrounding giving the hepatitis B vaccine to newborns are not unfounded. Let’s take a look at the science.

The vaccine was first introduced in the 1980s. And early warnings came fast and furious.

Respected vaccine researcher Bohn Dunbar exposed the years of autoimmune complications after her own brother was injured by the hepatitis vaccine in 1994. Her testimony awakened a lot of parents.

A 1999 Congressional hearing on the Hepatitis B vaccine laid it out:

One of the Congressional witnesses produced a report highlighting the dangers of the hepatitis B vaccine including cases of encephalomyelitis he’d observed (resulting in a two week coma for one, a four week coma for the other, along with optic neuritis and significant neurological disability for both). He and others¹^,²^,³ultimately identified HUNDREDS of publications linking the Hepatitis B vaccine to a wide degree of autoimmune disorders:

Note: this vaccine has also been linked to a variety of other disorders not classically classified as autoimmune disorders such as seizures,¹^,²Bell’s palsy,¹^,² cerebellar ataxia,¹tic disorders,¹anorexia,¹tufted angioma¹ and to increase common childhood illnesses (e.g., one study found a 1.6X increase in acute ear infections and a 1.41X increase in pharyngitis and nasopharyngitis). Worse still, one study found an 81% increase in death.

In a 1999 testimony before the Ohio legislature, another physician noted that most of the deaths following hepatitis B were classified as SIDS (a condition extensive evidence shows is strongly linked to vaccination) yet SIDS was almost always defined as occurring between 1 month to 1 year of age, and that prior to the hepatitis B vaccine being given to newborns, it rarely if ever affected children under 2 months of age—however in VAERS, many cases labeled as SIDS were reported in infants under one month of age following the vaccination.

They also reported that:

• Adverse reaction reports were dismissed, and short trial durations missed delayed reactions.

• Parents were not informed of the risks, newborns were vaccinated without parental consent, and parents were threatened with intervention from social services.

• Vaccinating low-risk newborns for an adult-associated disease is just plain inappropriate.

• The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (NVIC) was refusing to pay out on most valid claims.

In 1999, (one of the last times major news networks still aired programs critical of pharmaceutical interests), ABC News hosted an almost entirely forgotten program on the hepatitis B vaccine, which featured many vaccine-injured patients, including both injured adults and parents of severely injured children.

The science is and has been stacked against this vaccine. There are even more collected testimonies of severe injury to be found here.

• A 2007 study of 1824 children found boys who received the hepatitis B vaccine were 9 times as likely to have a developmental disability.

•A follow-up 2010 study found giving the hepatitis B vaccine at birth increased autism 3X, while a 2017 study found newborn (mercury containing) hepatitis B vaccines increased the risk of autism by 4.6-6.7X.

• A 2015 study found cases of MS in France rose by 65% in the years following an aggressive national campaign to increase hepatitis B vaccination rates, and that a statistically significant correlation existed between the number of hepatitis B vaccine doses given and the number of MS cases 1-2 years later. Attorneys representing more than 15,000 people sued France’s government for downplaying the risks and exaggerating its benefits. France then suspended hepatitis B vaccination in schools.

In a June interview with Tucker Carlson, Secretary Kennedy revealed that in 1999, the CDC conducted a study which found that receiving a hepatitis B vaccine in the first 30 days of life caused a 12.35 times increase in autism. As this was unacceptable, they conducted numerous attempts to adjust the data to hide the risk, but were unable to make the link go away, gave up, and never published it.

Why does the hepatitis B vaccine cause so much damage?

Autoimmune conditions caused by the vaccine are likely due to its antigen having a significant overlap with human myelin (nerve tissue). Myelin sheath is a protective membrane that wraps around part of certain nerve cells. Myelin also affects how fast signals travel through those nerve cells. (Go deeper here.)

The trials were a joke.

They monitored “side effects” for a mere 4–5 days. And the placebos they used? No, not saline—they were other vaccines or even aluminum adjuvants! Are you kidding me?

Serious reactions—the fatalities—were reclassified as SIDS or coincidence:

If transmission is typically due to adult risk factors, why not give it only to adults at risk? Healthcare workers, IV drug users, and gay men with multiple partners…

Studies have shown that it can dramatically reduce cases in these groups.

Why infants? There is virtually no risk, and immunity wanes quickly.

So what was the point?

The CDC’s main argument is prevention of mother-to-child transmission.

But nearly all U.S. expectant mothers are screened for hepatitis B during pregnancy. And infection rates are under 0.5%!

By the numbers, millions of babies must be vaccinated to prevent a single severe outcome.

And that’s not an exaggeration.

And if mom’s status is unknown, it’s actually mandated in many states to screen newborns for hepatitis B, anyway.

So why the universal newborn mandate?

A former ACIP insider revealed the dark truth:

It’s not about maternal transmission. It’s about capturing a “captive audience” in the hospital—before at-risk youth slip through the cracks later in life. (source)

So, because the CDC was failing to reach inner-city teens, they decided to vaccinate every baby in America.

It was never, ever medically justified—it was bureaucratic convenience disguised as science. Let that sink in.

The Forgotten History Of the Hep B Vaccine is Disturbing

The first hepatitis B vaccines were plasma-derived—actually using infected human blood. It even involved chimpanzee-human blood exchanges.

According to most sources, the vaccine was sourced from individuals with chronic hepatitis B infections and occasionally tested in chimpanzees. Conversely however, many other sources indicate there were direct blood exchanges between humans and chimpanzees either to develop the vaccine, to produce it initially, or to produce it at a lower cost for low-income markets.

This was during the early AIDS crisis in New York, San Francisco, and LA. Remember: HIV is considered to have come from a chimpanzee virus. Risky, much?

Note: the details in the above story are quite disturbing, and if true, implicate many top public health officials (to the point it is plausible they would act in lockstep for decades to protect themselves) and may also apply to the early blood clotting products provided to hemophiliacs (which were established to be contaminated with HIV).

From the start, the hepatitis B vaccine was expensive—about $145 for three doses compared to $2 for other vaccines.

Uptake was low among the high-risk groups it was meant for.

So regulators shifted strategy: add it to the childhood schedule, where government funding guaranteed sales.

By 1991, ACIP mandated hepatitis B vaccination for all newborns. By 1999, it expanded to all children and adolescents.

Parents objected. Pediatricians resisted. Even gay activists called it a failure of public health outreach.

But the CDC pressed forward—insisting it was “safe and effective” for day old newborn babies, despite what the science said.

Decades later, the outcome couldn’t be more clear.

Acute hepatitis B cases declined—but chronic hepatitis B rates never budged.

The very condition the program was supposed to eliminate hasn’t even changed since 1976.

Severe injuries from the vaccine, however, skyrocketed.

So, now for the first time in decades, the ACIP actually did its job and reconsidered the hepatitis B newborn mandate.

This is a huge WIN! RFK, Jr is fighting for every inch of progress, but the Big Pharma special vested interests that are deeply entrenched. Some believe Susie Wiles is blocking him at every turn.

We will just have to wait and see if he can continue to protect children and families. Pray.

You may have already seen that the Hep B vaccines has been removed from the mandatory schedule for newborns. I think that is a great thing at last!!

Is the Hep B detox the same as the spike protein detox? And is the detox effective for adults who had the vax as an infant?
