Charlie Kirk Understood This & Wanted You To, As Well
By Alex Newman/New American (Image source)

Charlie Kirk understood that without addressing education and stopping the escalating indoctrination of children, evil would win and the West would die. He told me so repeatedly. Homeschooling and getting the government out of education entirely is not just desirable, but essential, he argued.

(I’ve shared other work by Alex Newman Sex Education here and Sexualizing Through School Books here.)

In the aftermath of his brutal martyrdom on a college campus as he debated students, much has been said and written about Charlie’s politics, his engagement with college students and youth, his theological views, his beautiful family, his love for Christ, and his gargantuan impact on the nation. Those were all crucial parts of his legacy.

Far less has been said about his extremely passionate efforts on the education front. But as he told me multiple times, this is the key to winning the war and turning the tide. In particular, he believed that government must ultimately be removed from education entirely as parents reclaim their role from the state.

Of course, Charlie understood that this was first and foremost a spiritual battle. In fact, in the last significant conversation Alex Newman had with him, that was the first thing he pointed out. “The threat is demonic in its core,” he said, noting that the “unclean spirit” was simply taking “the form of the woke.”

13 minutes of Charlie Kirk at his finest.

The most important element of stopping the evil being unleashed against America and civilization, he said, is not physical. “First, it must be a spiritual transformation revolution,” Charlie explained, before jumping into the political and even personal components of the “right-wing revolution” he said was needed to “save the West.”

Charlie was correct, and I share his views on that issue 110 percent. Almost every talk I give, I remind people about what the Bible teaches on this. Flesh and blood people are not the enemy, as the Apostle Paul wrote in his letter to the Ephesians. Rather, spiritual powers and principalities are the real threat.

One of Charlie’s major books dealt with education, and he even created a whole division of Turning Point USA to deal with the crisis in education.

It was a great honor to have been invited to give keynote talks at his first major Turning Point event focused on education, and then at the second. His organization bought hundreds of copies of my book Indoctrinating Our Children to Death: Government Schools’ War on Faith, Family, and Freedom—And How to Stop It to give to teachers, school board members, and other educators.

What Charlie Wanted To See Happen

Charlie offered his own thoughts on what needed to be done. “We have the whole premise of education wrong,” he explained. “You do not make children. You allow children to grow, and you have them grow into what they ought to be, and you give them direction and guidance, but children are not something to be engineered.”

“They’re not something to be configured,” he explained. “They are to love learning more than anything else.”

Then he got into the roots of the current “education” system.

“You see, the Modern Education Project is Prussian at its core,” Charlie explained. “It is focused on the administrative state, the administrative bureaucracy to try to make a population more subservient and obedient, but the form of education that we should be embracing is the classical form of education that is rooted in what is good, true, and beautiful or what is eternal rather than what is temporal.”

Charlie expands on all this in his books, including Right Wing Revolution: How to Beat the Woke and Save the West. In particular, Charlie argued that it was time for parents to reclaim their role as primary educators of their children — and get the government out of the education and child-rearing business entirely.

“The immediate way that we stop it, what is happening in the country when it comes to education, is we must have a renaissance and a revival of homeschooling in this country,” he argued. “That is the first thing, is that we must continue to see that expansion. We must have more and more parents that are unafraid to homeschool their children.”

“Then, secondly, [we must] understand the government has no role in education,” Charlie continued. “I know that’s a radical statement to say, but the government in education is one of the ways we have seen the destruction and the debasing of the nuclear family.”

Finally, Charlie turned to higher education—a subject he knew well despite having not participated himself, as he spent endless hours on campuses debating students and bringing them the Gospel and biblical truth on every issue imaginable.

“When it comes to education, obviously the obvious thing, we must defund these woke universities — in fact, almost all universities, and we must build new stuff,” he said. “Why are there not 100 Hillsdale colleges? It’s great that there’s one. Why are there not 100? I mean, we have 100 polytechnical woke schools across the country, but we don’t have 100 Hillsdales.”

“It’s because we need to think as entrepreneurs to start the next big and great thing, to pour into the next generation, and to understand what education actually is,” Charlie continued. “We are more than half of the country with conservative sensibilities and Christian values, but we are not more than half of the education space, and we need to try to fix that.”

In his book The College Scam, Charlie expanded his attack on these institutions of so-called “higher learning” that were destroying not just education but families and society. “We are way past any possibility of reform,” he said in the book. “The university industry is corrupt through and through.”

“No one will stand up and say, ‘Stop this cultural madness!’,” he said. “The students, parents, and taxpayers who pay for the system won’t say it because they don’t think there is any way around it. The academics, politicians, and financiers won’t say it because they are the problem.”

Aside from preaching the Gospel and bringing people to Christ, taking on the education Goliath and its role in propagating evil was a major part of Charlie’s efforts. As we honor him, it must remain a focal point of his legacy. There was nobody else at his level with the courage to honestly and clearly state the truths he was exposing.

Over the last week, many millions of Americans and Charlie Kirk supporters worldwide have declared in unison, “We are all Charlie Kirk now!” I echo that sentiment. Let us never forget that taking on the “education” beast destroying children, families, and societies was one of his top priorities. It must be among ours, too.

Hi! I’m Jacqueline!

Thanks for being part of this journey with me.
Welcome to my own little place on the internet! Home is where I love to be. I feel there is no greater place to incubate souls. These days you’ll find me using my experiences here to write about herbal remedies and natural health research — a big passion of mine. But being a wife and mother is not easy. It is challenging and potentially lonely. I get that. I wanted to create a place to connect with and support other moms for creating a natural, healthy, and fulfilling home life.

Charlie Kirk was known as a ‘Christian Zionist’, meaning he supported a place in the Middle East that called itself ‘Israel’ and distorted the OT scriptures to justify their continual genocide. Kirk’s own words -“I have a bulletproof resume showing my defence of Israel,” he said. “I believe in the scriptural land rights given to Israel. I believe in fulfilment of prophecy. My life was changed in Israel,” he said, adding that he would “fight for” Israel.

The problem with that is there is no modern day promise of land to ‘Israel’. God fulfilled His promise to the true Old Testament Israelites in Joshua 21.
Israel was a person, not a place in the Middle East. God changed Jacob’s name to Israel, it was from Jacob and his 12 sons we see the origin of the Israelites.

Charlie Kirk was groomed from a young age to be useful to the synagogue of Satan. Zionist Jew Shillman’s millions helped transform Kirk from a young age into one of Israel’s most effective gentile assets.
When Kirk started to call out Netanyahu’s actions, his trouble began. You don’t take shekels from the synagogue of Satan then try to separate from them.

His Turning Point USA was heavily funded by Israel, up ⬆️ until recently. When Kirk joined other conservatives like Megyn Kelly in calling out Netanyahu, there was an ‘intervention’ set up to get him back on track- https://www.informationliberation.com/?id=65035

Candace Owen’s has made known Charlie was starting to attend Roman Catholic mass and praying the rosary. So he went from one form of false religion to another.
NO born again believer in Christ yokes themselves to any form of false religion, nor will Christ let His true sheep do so.

21“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
    Matt.7
The ‘Jesus’ Kirk professed was not the Christ of the Bible. You do not join with that which is antichrist and claim Christ. The Jewish Talmud is clear -The Talmud said Jesus was, along with Balaam and Titus, one of the three greatest enemies of Judaism (Gittin 56b-57a).
Jews are encouraged to lecture against Christ (Sanh. 106b). Christ is in hell, wallowing in boiling hot excrement (Git. 56b-57a).

The mother of harlots, the woman who rides the beast, mystery Babylon IS Judaism and all it births. Kirk was religiously deceived…

4 ¶ And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.
5 “For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many Matthew 24

Being a ‘conservative’ does NOT equal to being saved.

Lyn, there are SO, SO many “conspiracy” theories floating around. It is a very confusing topic since there is so much conflicting information out there (and then we need to factor in AI in the videos), so I’m trusting Christ Jesus himself to reveal that to me one day.

I’m not a particularly big fan of Candace O. (since in the past, she said she was praying “to the universe” in one of her older videos but can’t tell you which one with any certainly). She is also very comfortable cursing, etc. And as a Catholic now herself, I’m pretty sure she would love to claim that Charlie was headed that way, but was he really? We won’t know for sure on this earth, and I’m not one to speculate. Anyway, I do admire that she digs and usually brings the receipts.

The point I wanted to bring in sharing this post (about home-education) has nothing to do with what people are saying about his faith. I believe there is a lot of demonic activity going on to taint or outright destroy his witness, discredit his faith, his views, and the TPUSA organization, etc.. Satan hates God and anyone desiring to represent Him faithfully.

The views that Charlie Kirk held on homeschooling, I know to be quite sound. We home-schooled all of our children, all the way through high school and they all earned college scholarships. They all are successful, self-motivated, responsible, wonderful married adults in their early 30s with families, own their own homes – each are stable, respectable citizens making a difference in their communities – and we are all close.

I believe that the upbringing (especially homeschooling) they had heavily contributed to that despite my many human flaws, being a very young Christian, and an RN and not a teacher. To God be the glory! It was all Him! Our kids are all homeschooling their own children, as well, and will not cave to government education and the culture.
That is what I want to encourage every young person to consider. THAT is why I shared the post.

      Sending peace,
      Jacqueline
PS I pray that Charlie was in the Lord Jesus with right theology, but we cannot judge what is/was on someone’s heart (1 Samuel 16:7 and Proverbs 21:2), and I hope you don’t, as well.

Homeschooling is better than government education, that’s true.

As for Kirk’s attending mass, from Owen’s – “I said Charlie was attending Mass, because he was. I said Charlie was praying the Rosary, because he was. And I said that as a Catholic of course I was egging him to take the next step. Who wouldn’t? Whatever your faith is, if you’re Evangelical and someone is thinking about converting, you’re going to want to egg them on.”

She added that when she’d said to Charlie: “Take the next step. You’re too smart to be a Protestant,” it was said in a humorous way, as their relationship was “like brother and sister.”

Candace Owens worked as the communications director at Turning Point USA from 2017 to 2019 and toured college campuses with Charlie Kirk, ***bringing conservatism to liberal college students***.- source -https://crossroadsreport.substack.com/p/the-debate-about-charlie-kirk-and
I find it odd that ‘conservatism’ is seen as the answer to a ‘better society’. In reality SIN is what defines ALL of mankind, whether they be ‘conservative’ or ‘liberal’.
Kirks wife is also Roman Catholic. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter if he promoted homeschooling, worshiping a false god is damning to the soul. A homeschooled sinner will perish in their sins apart from Gods electing grace.
There are many false Jesus’ in religion, Kirk went from the Zionist Christian ‘Jesus’ to the Roman Catholicism ‘Jesus’. Both are false gods. If he were truly born from above, he would have steered clear from all of it. Only God can bring one to repentance that leads to a knowledge of the truth (2 Timothy 2:25).
Religious people think how they live, talk, behave, etc equals salvation. Dead works save no one. Romans 8:13 tells us how a true born again believer is able to live. Only those sealed with the Spirit will bear the fruit of the Spirit.

This is interesting – “On one of the last episodes of his show on Real America’s Voice, Charlie Kirk had exhorted Protestants to honor the Virgin Mary.

“We don’t talk about her enough. We don’t venerate her enough,” he’d said. – https://crossroadsreport.substack.com/p/the-debate-about-charlie-kirk-and

That article should be read, it exposes Kirk’s dabbling into Roman Catholicism. There’s also a link to a post on X where Kirk talks about Mary.

Homeschooling is secondary, America is rife with false religion as so many push ‘conservatism’ and being prim and proper as necessary. How a believer lives is empowered by the Spirit and by His truth revealed within. Too many want to go back to that old covenant of works, which is likened to the pharisee – The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men—extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector.
12 ‘I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’
13 “And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ Luke 18
One boasted in his ‘works’, the other had nothing to boast about. His only hope was to throw himself on the mercy of God…
Those who are under religious deception will never be able to detect that deception.

Lyn, I agree with ALL of what you say, but have a hard time stating as a fact that he was praying to Mary even if Candace O said he was (essentially as if she was God – why not pray to God himself as we are instructed in the Lord’s prayer – Matthew 6:5-15). As to what I shared in the post on homeschool, all I can do is share what I feel would be encouraging to parents and let the Holy Spirit lead them in the way.

Ex: Our oldest grand daughter is almost 6, and we all full realize it is not any one of us that will bring her to Christ by what we say or do, but rather a work of the Holy Spirit in her heart alone that will accomplish that..BUT we can disciple her and unabashedly and unapologetically model the Love of Christ daily in how we live with our husbands and family in His grace and mercy daily and teach her in an environment according to Deuteronomy 6: 6-8.. homeschooling IS secondary, but to keep them from corrupting influences, today it is vital. That was the topic of the post, and only that. (I feel like I have to defend my resharing this article with you. Maybe I am mis-reading you.)

Protection from exposure to hard core wickedness, at least while young and in our home, is our job as parents. This post explains where I’m coming from: https://deeprootsathome.com/the-mere-exposure-effect-what-is-being-pushed-onto-kids/
