The widely-prescribed allergy and asthma drug Singulair (montelukast) is causing serious mental health issues according to data recently revealed by the FDA. With chronic diseases in over 50% of our kids and so many covered up vaccine injuries already— let’s stop further damage!
You need to be aware of this danger.
Thousands of patients and dozens of studies have reported harmful psychiatric side effects, including depression, suicide, anxiety and aggression. A black box warning was issued by the FDA in March 2020 about the mental health side effects of Singulair, but millions are still taking it.
CBS 5 Investigates claims the manufacturer had evidence decades ago before Singulair went on the market that it affected the brain.
9 minutes.
And the drug is still prescribed at high levels despite the rise of reports from affected patients.

One Mom’s Story
One woman, Nicole Sims, turned to the internet for answers when her 6-year-old son started having nightmares and hallucinations of a woman in the window and told her that he wanted to die, the New York Times reported. Her internet searches were the first time she heard of the FDA warning.
Sims also stumbled upon a Facebook support group called the Montelukast (Singulair) Side Effects Support and Discussion Group with over 20,000 members who share their experiences about the side-effects of the medication.
“It’s a mental health crisis that nobody is recognizing,” she told the Times.
Dr. Reshma Ramachandran, a Yale University assistant professor and family doctor, is concerned that not enough doctors know about the warning, saying that it hasn’t gotten through to channels that doctors will notice.
“Of the estimated 12 million people prescribed the medication, an estimated 1.6 million are children.”
Lab tests showed “significant binding” of the drug to multiple brain receptors and indicate that montelukast is highest in brain regions known to be involved in (psychiatric effects), according to Jessica Oliphant, Ph.D., deputy director at FDA’s National Center for Toxicological Research.
Still the FDA said it has no plans to update the drug’s label based on the new data.
6 years ago, there were already 82 suicides linked to Singulair and its generic versions
Merck’s early advertisements for Singulair reported the side-effects were so mild they were “similar to a sugar pill.” However, patients’ lived experiences tell a different story.
By 2019, the FDA had counted 82 suicides linked to Singulair and its generic versions reported in its adverse event database since 1998. More than a third of those involved someone age 19 or younger. (Source) Surely, there are many more now.
In 2020, the FDA added a “black box” warning on the Singulair and montelukast labels to alert potential users of the drug’s “serious potential side effects. Now nothing more is done except to study why the drug might trigger neuropsychiatric side effects.
Merck is deeply embroiled in multiple lawsuits which allege the drugmaker knew early on that Singulair could affect the brain and also that Merck downplayed the drug’s ability to trigger psychiatric problems in its claims to drug regulators.
“Put an end to the evil of the wicked, but establish the righteous, O righteous God who searches hearts and minds.“ ~Psalm 7:9
Natural Antihistamines (because you just may want to reconsider drugs)
• Vitamin C is a powerful natural antihistamine. One study suggests taking 2,000 mg. or more daily. Try it. It works.
• Allergy Health contains 4 of these natural histamines (Amazon Choice product)
• AllergyCalm triggers the body’s natural defenses to allergic symptoms, making it the optimal choice over pharma’s synthetic antihistamines and decongestants.
• Quercetin w/ Bromelain is a natural antihistamine that helps stabilize mast cells to prevent both the manufacture and release of histamine.
• Stinging nettle leaf blocks histamine receptors. The leaf can function just like Allegra or Claritin with none of the side-effects. (You can make your own tincture here.)
• Spirulina, a nutrient-dense blue-green algae, has anti-inflammatory and immune-regulating properties that reduce common allergy symptoms. One study showed it was even better at relieving symptoms than cetirizines like Zyrtec.
• Plain and natural out-of-the-hive RAW honey!!!!
• Boiron Histaminum Hydrochloricum 30C is a powerful remedy for stopping histamine reactions. (Amazon Choice product)
• Euphrasia Officinalis (eyebright herb) has been utilized since the middle ages as a tool for treating all sorts of allergies symptoms
• Probiotics help balance of gut bacteria and boost a person’s immune system, which can help the body fight off allergies.
