How To Detox Aspartame, the Sweet Poison

How To Detox Aspartame, the Sweet Poison. A person's feet who is soaking in tub, pulling out toxins and chemicals.

Is it really necessary to detox aspartame?

If you are reading this article, you are probably considering how to be free from the damaging and addictive effects of aspartame.

You are in the right place to learn how to detox aspartame safely and gently.

You have probably done your research, suspect why you are feeling terrible, and are not willing to sacrifice your vitality anymore. Enough of the seductive ads by mega corporations implying you’ll be thinner and more ‘glam’ by going the chemical laden “sugar-free” route.

She Restored Her Health In 30 Days. You Can, Too

In response to readers’ questions, I went on a search of how to best detox aspartame poisoning.

I found helpful information on Janet Star Hull‘s website. Janet, the author of Sweet Poison: How The World’s Most Popular Artificial Sweetener Is Killing Us – was diagnosed with an ‘incurable’ case of Grave’s Disease, a fatal thyroid disorder.

She herself had aspartame poisoning with symptoms of ‘textbook’ Grave’s Disease. Using the Aspartame Detoxification Program she designed at the time of her ‘disease’, she restored her health within 30 days.

And you can, too, but you need a plan.

Dr. Hull’s Aspartame Detoxification Process will detox aspartame quickly, and may also safely help remove many chemical toxins within the body.

    How To Kick the Can?

How To Detox Aspartame, the Sweet Poison. An infographic with some of the many side-effects of aspartame.

No matter how much of a headache (no pun intended) it is to go through withdrawal, it will be worth it! Aspartame is not benign; it ages you and is a proven neurotoxin – every sip kills brain cells.

For those of you who are losing the health battle and are now determined to do something to regain and restore what you can, you must get rid of the toxic load.

Common toxins such as aluminum, mercury (vaccines), lead, and the by-products of aspartame (formic acid, methanol, and formaldehyde) block nutrients from getting into normal body cells in the same fashion a lead shield blocks radiation during an x-ray.

Diseases, such as cancer, now have an environment in which to form. Toxins are at the root of most diseases, and once they are removed, health and well-being return. (source)

Dr. Hull’s List To Detox Aspartame

You can detox aspartame safely and gently with food grade Bentonite Clay (internal ingestion) or more expensive, harder to find (external use only) French Green Clay.

After the meltdown of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the Soviet Union put Green Clay and earth-mined zeolites in chocolate bars and dispensed them freely to the masses to remove radiation they may have been exposed to.

(Note: the addition of green clay to ingest was for that emergency and not recommended for internal use outside of an emergency of that scale!)

Clays contain magnesium, calcium, potassium, manganese, phosphorous, zinc aluminum, silicon, copper, selenium, cobalt, micro-algae’s, kelp, and phyto-nutrients.

Clays (including bentonite) works through both adsorbing (to bind to) and absorbing (to ‘swallow’ up) chemicals. Clay is negatively charged and binds readily to endotoxins from Gram negative bacteria, by-products of yeast and bacteria, and heavy metals. This process assists in restoring gut microbial balance and is recommended as an effective detox strategy that is also gentle enough to use daily. (PubMed source)(source)

Food grade Bentonite Clay has the ability to remove toxic metals and chemical residues, bacteria, and blood toxins with virtually no side effects of constipation, diarrhea, or stomach cramping.

It is basically tasteless. Dr. Hull believes it helps detoxify radiation, arsenic, lead, mercury, and aluminum and other toxic metals in less than six weeks.

    1. You can soak in a hot bath with a 1/2 cup French Green Clay and 1 cup Epsom Salts well mixed in. The minerals will be absorbed into your skin and bind with the toxins soon to be excreted by your body.

    2. Adults mix 1 teaspoon of food grade Bentonite Clay in 8 oz. water and drink it down. If exposed to an unusual high level of toxins, such as radiation, increase daily intake of clay to once in the morning and again before bed, both on an empty tummy so the clay has nothing blocking its pathway to reach toxins circulating in your body. Give your body about 20 minutes to absorb the clay and then you can eat or drink. Drink more water through the day than normal to keep bowels moving easily.

It is best to introduce clay gradually if you have never used it before.
    * For Days 1 thru 3, use 1/3 teaspoon;
    * Days 4 thru 6, use 2/3 teaspoon;
    * Days 7 and on, use 1 teaspoon.

    3. For young children 2-6 years old, Dr. Hull recommends mixing 1/2 teaspoon in a 4 or 8oz. water bottle for this age group, once a day. If they get dry stools, simply take it down to 1/4 teaspoon and add more water intake daily.

Support with Specific Vitamins, Enzymes, and Herbs

    • Vitamin C to bowel tolerance. The most effective form of Vitamin C is buffered, ascorbic acid NOT from corn. Begin with taking 2,000 to 3,000 milligrams (mg) every day and increase by 1,000 mg daily until you have a loose stool several days in a row. Remain slightly below that dosage, daily. You can split the dosage throughout the day if the milligrams run high during the detox process. Ascorbic acid removes toxins from the water stores within your body, and ideally, every cell within your body should be bathed in water. When the ascorbic acid levels have successfully reached every cell within your body, the excess vitamin C excretes in your stool, which makes it soft and watery.
    • B-100 Complex once daily in the morning.
    • Begin with 50 mg. Niacin on a slightly full stomach; increase by 50 mg daily until an immediate flush occurs; do not panic if you turn red or your heart beats rapidly; this is a good sign that toxins are being removed. Some people have taken as much as 500 mg Niacin three times a day until they broke through their toxins and felt a burn. And the less food you have in your stomach, the quicker the Niacin will get into your bloodstream to do it’s work.
Remember this general rule of thumb: if you have more toxins than Niacin, you will not feel a burn through your skin. As you increase your daily Niacin intake, you are increasing the amount of B3 in relation to your toxic load. When you have more Niacin than toxins present, you WILL feel the burn within 10 to 20 minutes after taking it.
    • Digestive enzymes that contains both upper (papain, HCL) and lower (amylase, lactase, etc.) stomach digestive aides and digestive enzymes. Take digestive enzymes immediately AFTER eating a meal so to give the stomach a chance to produce its own needed stomach acids in order to properly dissolve food intake. What the stomach cannot produce on its own can then be supplemented.
    • Multi-vitamin once a day. Make sure it contains NO aspartame! As much as we may think we are eating balanced diets, unless you grow your own organic foods, most Americans are not getting the proper amount of vitamins and minerals from the food supply. American soils are depleted in nutrients and saturated with chemical pesticides and fertilizers, especially on corporate farms.
    • Essiac (or Ezzeac) Plus Herb tea

Detox Aspartame with Optimal Diet & Exercise:

    • avoid artificial food chemicals, MSG, natural flavors, artificial flavors, GMOs. There are more than 6000 products containing aspartame.
    • no aspartame or diet sweeteners (use honey, maple syrup, fruit only)
    • use only unrefined sea salt or Himalayan pink salt
    • lessen processed foods; use only olive oil, coconut oil or cold pressed seed oils of choice
    • no white flour or white sugar; replace with whole grains, Brewer’s Yeast, and bee pollen
    • eat 50% or more raw or steamed foods at each meal
    • honor a scheduled weekly workout of biking, walking, aerobics, etc.

I was wondering about the French green clay. It says they’re for external use. I did find Bentonite Clay for internal use. Is that same type of thing? Just as effective? Thank you.

Hi, Mike! Yes French green clay and bentonite clays are both very good but do have different uses.

It’s great to discover you from the Linkup today! I very much appreciated this post. My husband and I decided a couple of years ago to give up diet soda. We were not consumers like many of our friends were, but it was the usual beverage we would order and have on hand. You are right about the difficulty of stopping it. I have likely not had more than one or two sodas since then (usually root beer for a root beer float in the summer) and I don’t crave it any more! Thanks!

I am so thankful that some are paying attention, Pam, and that you and your husband did! I remember when I drank regular Cokes in nursing school and later on breaks from OR. I soon became addicted to the sugar, and I knew I had to stop. So glad I did!

My mom was told recently that taking so many supplements is taxing to your liver. Thoughts on that in regard to what you’ve written above? Also, I’m expecting our second baby, so I’m wondering if I can safely detox while pregnant? I have read that fasting isn’t safe while pregnant or nursing, because the baby is exposed to all those released toxins. Do you have any suggestions or literature I could reference? Thanks so much for taking time out to write this. It was very interesting!

        Felisha,
I wish I knew more about detoxing while pregnant. I personally would not do it.
The only think I would do is to take lemon water in the morning to facilitate a bowle movement. Best to stay regular so your body doe not reabsorb the toxins from constipation.
        I hope that helps 🙂

      J-
Thank you so much for your post. I have a question- can i put the same teaspoon amount into a capsule, and swallow it? Would it have the same ‘detoxifying’ effect? Or does swallowing it ‘grab things’ on the way ‘down’ into the stomach?
I rather take a capsule of the clay powder if I can..
      Thanks for any info

Hi, M 🙂 I love your question. I think putting it into a capsule would be great, but it takes more time and after a while you might get tired of the extra work and stop. I use a capsule machine for making many capsules all at once and that helps a bunch. The only one I can find, even on amazon, is from Bulk Herb Store: http://www.bulkherbstore.com/capsule-machine#a_aid=deeprootsathome
        I hope that helps 🙂

Is it prudent to use the clay if a person has amalgam fillings? I’m thinking in terms of the clay pulling the mercury and redistributing it, or pulling it out at a faster rate than it is already outgassing and causing greater harm to the person.

T, That is a great question, but I must say I don’t know. It seems to me you are thinking about it correctly and should get the amalgams out first (not too many at once). My biological dentist divided my mouth up into 4 quadrants (4 removals) since I already had auto-immune isses and Lyme’s so it wouldn’t cause more hit on the immune system. I hope that helps 🙂

One other question: Do you know if bentonite clay (such as Living Clay brand) works the same as French green clay?

I know this is an old post but I believe I’m suffering from aspartame withdrawal. The link to the french clay on amazon’s website shows it’s not available. Where else could I purchase it. Also are there any groups to help someone who is experiencing these terrible withdrawal symptoms. Doctors don’t seem to think it is a real thing?

        Hi, T!
To my knowledge, they work similarly, but DE doesn’t have as strong a negative charge as good clay. Also, you need to know that clay or DE cannot work cellularly.
The only thing that I know that can work in all the places water can go in the body it nano-zeolite TRS.
It is what our family used to bind and remove our prions (which freaked our ND and us out over a year ago).
We test completely negative for prions now.

Bc of the amazing work it soed, I distribute it and am working with many hundreds of families detoxing for that and other things. You can read more here:
        https://deeprootsathome.com/avalyns-story-how-trs-a-safe-heavy-metal-detox-can-help-you-and-your-child/

        and here:
        https://deeprootsathome.com/heavy-metals-need-to-go-they-are-food-for-viruses-bacteria-fungi/

TRS also detoxes the food for parasites… remove their food and they will die! Just do it slowly and you won’t experience the die off some do.
It is a cellular detox… eggs, larva and adults. Not just a gut clanse, but that, too.

TRS removes ~80,000 toxins and metals. Read “What is Advanced TRS” for insight in the detailed FAQs section on my website: https://inspiredhealthtrs.cosevatrs.com/faq/
I do complimentary coaching with every order via email through my link ❤ https://inspiredhealthtrs.cosevatrs.com/

I hope that is helpful, T.

        Hi, Laura,

You may want to re-read this part in the post about green clay:
“You can detox aspartame safely and gently with food grade Bentonite Clay (internal ingestion) or more expensive, harder to find (external use only) French Green Clay.

After the meltdown of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the Soviet Union put Green Clay and earth-mined zeolites in chocolate bars and dispensed them freely to the masses to remove radiation they may have been exposed to.

(Note: the addition of green clay to ingest was for that emergency and not recommended for internal use outside of an emergency of that scale!)”

Green clay is not food grace and can be contaminated with heavy metals. All okay for the bath, but not ingestion!

        Blessings,
        Jacque
