In 2002, Kris Newby and her family took a one week vacation to Martha’s Vineyard. “When we returned home, my husband and I became deathly ill with a tick borne disease,” Newby recalls. It’s sort of like having multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, chronic fatigue … joint pain, all at the same time. During that time, Newby made an award winning documentary about her illness titled –Under Our Skin (found here).
When Newby and her husband got better after years of treatment, she told her husband – “I’m done with Lyme disease. I’m going to move on with my life and forget I was ever so ill.”
Newby was hired as a researcher at Stanford Medical School. “I went to Stanford and pretty much just a couple of weeks after I said I wasn’t going to work on Lyme disease anymore, two things happened,” Newby said. “I was at a random family party in Texas, and I met a guy in his 70s. I asked him – where did you work before you retired? And he said – I was in Black Ops in the CIA. And he told me some of the horrible things he did in Vietnam. And at the end of that riff he said – but the strangest thing I ever did was drop infected ticks on Cuban sugar cane workers in 1962. He had no idea that I just spent five years of my life researching Lyme disease.” (source)
“I spent the rest of the evening speaking with him, taking copious notes. I didn’t know about the Cold War. He talked about details that I verified later on. And it turns out that the dropping of infected ticks in Cuba was a project of Operation Mongoose, which was a CIA operation to weaken Fidel Castro’s position in Cuba, to bring his economy down. They wanted to diminish Cuba’s largest cash crop – which was sugar cane.” (source)
“Then a friend of mine who also does documentaries went out to Willy Burgdorfer’s house and did a four hour interview with him. (Turns out Willy Burgdorfer (who was one of the lead scientists who years earlier had weaponized the ticks for military purposes. (you can’t make this stuff up).
Newby went on to write a book titled – Bitten: The Secret History of Lyme Disease and Biological Weapons.

Nearing the end of WWII, the U.S. and the Soviet Union raced to recruit German scientists for postwar purposes. Under a top-secret program code-named Project Paperclip, the U.S. military pursued Nazi scientific talent ‘like forbidden fruit,’ bringing them to America under employment contracts and giving them full citizenship.
One of the scientists who appears to have been involved with Plum Island was Dr. Erich Traub. He worked directly for Adolf Hitler’s second-in-charge, SS Reichsführer Heinrich Himmler in charge of their virological and bacteriological warfare program. After the war, Dr. Traub was ordered to research germ warfare viruses for the Russians on the Soviet side of the Iron Curtain, but he pulled off a daring escape with his family to West Berlin in 1949. The outbreak of unusual tick-borne disease around Long Island Sound actually started in 1968, and it involved three diseases: Lyme arthritis, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, and babesia.

For Those With Suspected Lyme, Now What?
If you have a long history of health issues, with symptoms that change daily or monthly, but never go away, I’d seriously consider Lyme testing by a lab that specializes in it, for example Igenex, Fry, or Advance Labs. Inaccurate results by regular labs may produce a false negative, so you think you don’t have Lyme when you do. Years of confusion and grief may follow. The extra expense seems worth it.
Lyme infection is not just caused by Borrelia burgdorferi, but it is a co-infection of many organisms living symbiotically such as:
• Babesia
• Rickettsia
• Bartonella
• Ehrlichia
• Cytomegalovirus (CMV)
• Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)
There are many more (alpha-gal, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, Mycoplasma, Q-fever, etc.) behind the many and varied symptoms.The recommended labs above are best at detecting these bugs.

For better advice, contact Ken Stoller, MD. His interviews with me and his website are HERE and HERE. To treat the disease, Dr. Stoller uses hyperbaric oxygen and Alinia, a benign anti-parasite drug that you can buy from Indian pharmacies like IndiaMart. Also Ivermectin seems to help.
Chlorine dioxide (CDS) is likely to be a cure. It is cheap, safe, and easy to make, but heavily suppressed, which is evidence it works. See my post about it HERE.
When you kill Lyme spirochetes, toxins are released that can make you sick. This is a Herxheimer reaction; both Alinia and CDS potentially provoke it. So you should get treatment help from Ken or another experienced doctor. If you do not, your initial doses should be low. What My Family Did to Beat Lyme Disease:
When my (Jacqueline’s) family had chronic Lyme, there were only a few Lyme-literate doctors (LLDs) and they all resorted to rotating antibiotics to try to outsmart and kill the co-infections.

We changed over to targeted homeopathics because I became severely allergic to all the antibiotics LLDs offered. We located a certified practitioner (e.g. functional MD, RN, ND, Ph.D. or P.A.) who used an electro-dermal scanner to pinpoint specific co-infections in the body and then give the corresponding homeopathic remedy. EDS and homeopathy can work very effectively to correct the pathologies by disrupting the pathological frequencies and detoxing the problem but can be expensive and it takes time. We spent thousands and lots of travel time for the 4 of us and had to slow down on our healing progress.
Finally, I was pointed by another RN to Advanced TRS, which safely and gently binds/chelates metals out of the body. I believe it is a missing piece of the puzzle because science has shown that it is metals that hold biofilms together. Co-infections are able to escape antibiotics and other treatments and bred unharmed while in a biofilm.

When we started TRS, though several of us had some herxing at first, we soon figured out how to control that and began to see a decrease in our Lyme symptoms for once and for all.
