It’s a dark day for MAHA. The U.S. FDA today approved the first messenger RNA (mRNA)-based seasonal flu shot, clearing the way for Moderna’s mFlusiva to be used in adults ages 50 and older, The New York Times reported.
The approval is a major win for Moderna, which sees mFlusiva as the next step in expanding its mRNA platform beyond COVID-19. It uses the same basic technology as COVID-19 vaccines, though it targets influenza strains selected for the coming season. (source)
The move drew criticism from vaccine safety advocates, who argued that regulators should not expand the use of mRNA technology before addressing concerns raised during the COVID-19 vaccine rollout.

The Dangerous Flu Shots
The regular flu shot is already dangerous enough and was proven in the Pentagon study to actually INCREASE the risk of Covid by 36%. Will the mFlusiva likewise INCREASE the risk of getting the flu and cause more people to go and get their own mRNA flu jab? It is a valid question that needs to be asked.
Here’s the breakdown of harm clearly laid out for us:
“mRNA gene therapy injections are demonstrably not ready for prime time,” said Mary Holland, CEO of Children’s Health Defense (CHD). “No new mRNA shots should be brought on the market, and those already on the market should long ago have been removed. It is disheartening to see the Trump administration green light these shots that will undoubtedly have severe adverse consequences.”
Moderna President Stephen Hoge praised the approval, calling it “a big deal for us.”
Not long ago, U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. criticized mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, calling them “the deadliest vaccine ever made.” The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) last year canceled nearly $500 million in funding for mRNA vaccine research, NBC News reported.
HHS Press Secretary Emily Hilliard told The Defender that Kennedy believes mRNA products require “heightened scientific scrutiny” and pointed to the FDA’s post-market monitoring requirements for mFlusiva, particularly for older adults. Hilliard also noted that according to CDC recommendations (as of this writing), the vaccine is not mandated, Americans should have access to transparent safety information, and the ability to make decisions with their physicians regarding “whether or not— or which seasonal flu shot might be right for them.”
Published studies have conclusively linked COVID-19 mRNA vaccines to numerous adverse events, including fibrous calamari-type clots, myocarditis and pericarditis, seizures and cancers. As you see in the images above, the FDA data found the mFlusiva trial also found higher rates of side-effects among Moderna recipients over the more traditional flu vaccine. (source)
Moderna said it expects the mFlusiva flu shot to be available for the 2026-27 respiratory virus season. That is just weeks away!
Mike Adams states: “I believe calling this mRNA injection a vaccine is a grand deception. Even in western “virology” thinking, a true vaccine trains your immune system against a pathogen. But messenger RNA technology hijacks your own cells and forces them to manufacture alien proteins. As Elana Freeland shows in her book Geoengineered Transhumanism, synthetic biologists build with “Lego-like BioBricks, short pieces of synthetic DNA” that initiate “the transcription of DNA into synthetic messenger RNA,” turning cells into programmable factories.
“The spike protein those cells produce is not a harmless little antigen. It destroys the immune system’s regulatory mechanism responsible for balancing inflammation and calming the body’s response. Without that [God-designed] brake, the immune system can overreact and attack your own tissues. Dr. Judy Mikovits [whose old NIH boss was Anthony Fauci] has spent years warning that glyphosate makes the toxicity of mRNA injections even worse. And the people being told to line up first are the elderly, whose bodies are already depleted in the nutrients needed for DNA repair and whose descendants are expected to pay for it.
“This is why many have repeatedly warned that the greatest danger of mRNA technology is not just the immediate injury. It is the genetic damage you potentially hand to the next generation. When they push these jabs on women of childbearing age (because that’s part of the campaign, too), they are not simply clearing out a generation. They are attacking the genetic memory of the family line.”
Will Patients Really Be Able To Choose Which Flu Shot They Get?
Although doctors can now prescribe mFlusiva flu shot, some experts say many patients won’t know which flu vaccine they’re getting.
Dr. Meryl Nass, an internist and longtime vaccine safety advocate, gives us a fantastic viewpoint of the inner political workings: mFLUSIVA is probably the straw that finally led to the firing of Vinay Prasad at FDA. He refused to consider it for a license. Once he was out, it sped through an FDA review and is now available to the public for this flu season. She also says patients generally aren’t given a choice among the available flu vaccines, and she doesn’t expect that to change with mFlusiva.
Nass also wrote on her Substack, “When you request a flu shot, you will not receive the one you desire. Instead you will be given one of these shots, chosen by others for you. You will not be told there exists a menu of shots to choose from.”
