As home-educators, we used the religious exemption for vaccinating our children, and (when asked) it never became an issue when I mentioned we had a lawful state exemption.
We were also members of and backed up by the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) which I highly recommend.
The National Vaccine Information Center’s Vaccine Law page provides a summary of state vaccine laws and exemptions available in different states, including which states require the signature of a medical doctor or other state-designated health care worker in order to file a non-medical exemption.
States with an asterisk next to them are states that have enacted recent restrictions to exemption laws. Be aware the map will be changing as the states are slowly removing exemptions.

Don’t be dumbed-down! Know your rights as parents and individuals!
Those trying to teach about vaccine dangers have only one motivation: to prevent more suffering. We have either witnessed it first hand in our own family or know those who have.

Jacque’s Update: You may notice that I’ve taken all the Pinterest images on my vaccine posts and other conservative content down. Back in late 2018, Pinterest permanently removed 2 very large boards. They just vanished with no warning! Pinterest later emailed to say the content encouraged “self-harm” or was considered “hate speech,” and if you question vaccines you cannot be on Pinterest. Even if you just question the ingredients.
