One teen wrote, “I’ve been preoccupied these past months about my sexual orientation. This all began with my good friend Joe. We were very close friends; we shared everything with each other. Then, one night when he came into his room half-naked, he looked…different to me. He didn’t feel like a normal friend to me anymore. Throughout the months, I felt these strange feelings and looked at him somewhat differently…Girls are beautiful, but I’m not looking for girlfriends. I just like girls as normal friends, though I feel sexually attracted to them. Sexually, I think I feel more attracted to guys than girls…I guess it depends. I’m uncertain. I can assure you, however, that these feelings aren’t just sexual impulses, it goes deeper than that. It’s an emotional and romantic sensation. My question is, how can I know with certainty about my sexual orientation? This question haunts me.”…
There’s nothing quite like the taste of a fresh, naturally sweet cherry right off the tree – so why not turn them into a frozen cherry treat for the super hot summer days to come?!! To me, cherries bring back all the best memories of summer into one bite.
Fresh-from-the-freezer treats are the name of the game this summer. This cherry popsicle will keep your sweet tooth at bay (without the processed sugar) and cool you down the entire season. Your family can stay on the healthy side without skimping on flavor.
So you don’t have sweet cherry trees? The next best thing I know is to find a reliable organic source like Azure Standard….
This week, my husband was stung by a bee and had a mild reaction. The Epi-Pen we had on order was still on back-order, so the pharmacist recommended taking Benadryl. We said “NO” having read a report published in JAMA Internal Medicine that showed compelling evidence of a link between use of anticholinergic medications like Benadryl and dementia.
[I’ll tell you the natural alternatives we used in a minute.]…
For centuries, the beauty of fireflies has evoked much wonder and delight.
Fireflies live in the rolling highlands of New England and the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, the rainforests of Malaysia and the mountainous forests of Japan. Oddly, no species of fireflies that light up are found west of Kansas. Nobody is sure why. …
Oil pulling has my full attention – finally!
I’d heard about Oil Pulling (OP) from Facebook friends’ comments, often with amazing results, but for some reason oil pulling had just seemed too simplistic to me.
I have compiled 6 selected personal accounts of how diligent oil pulling has saved money, pain, and worry, as well as prevented numerous dental procedures. I wish I had done oil pulling years ago! After my recent 7 months of dental nightmares – 2 bone grafts and an implant after finding a deep bone infection with bone loss – I write this because it’s time we embrace that we can PREVENT many dental issues!
At the end I give directions for HOW to oil pull, if it’s SAFE to oil pull with amalgams (metal fillings), and if it makes filling fall out.
